Nice yo see the old restaurant done up so nicely. Kudos to a great job of decorating. It was clean, pleasant and wonderful to see. Oh and the food was good too. Spouse gave the meatball sub 2 thumbs up, excellent fries. I enjoyed a great turkey club and delicious soup. Hope to be back on our next trip.

My best friend, my husband and I were on our way to our hotel in Londonderry after visiting Ticonderoga. We saw the sign for the Sasquatch Saloon and just had to stop (we love cryptozoology related stuff). Our waitress was excellent, super friendly and very informed about the food--all fresh and locally sourced, nothing from big box suppliers. Although we live in coastal Maine, she made the vodka marinara pasta with scallops sound so delicious I had to try it--it was great, actually some of the best I've ever had (the bad news is it was a special, so it's not available all the time). My husband and friend got the Big Foot Burger and said it was good, I can say their fries were awesome! We sat on the back deck, overlooking the river with a beautiful willow tree in the corner (the inside was very cute and had a neat saloon feel, probably very cozy on cold nights). We didn't try them, but they had some area brews available. The prices varied from under $10 to $30ish, so there is something for everyone. The only bad thing was that we did have to rush out due to the fact our hotel had a cut-off time for check in, it would have been a really nice place to sit and enjoy a drink or dessert, plus we felt bad for going so quickly after such a great meal and nice service. Maybe we'll be back that way again and can give this place the time it deserves!Thank you so much for visiting. This review makes it all worthwhile. Hope to see you again for a relaxed evening!Sincerely Richard Corsetti Chef/owner

Not gourmet food, but always good, reliable breakfast, lunch, or dinner that hits the spot when you are hungry. Pass by sometimes traveling from NY to VT and it's very convenient for us that most nights they're open until 9:00 and you can get breakfast items.Must save room for a piece of their scrumptious homemade pie selection.

Visited the Skene Manor for lunch. What a lovely place. Have been there many times for lunch and the free tour by volunteer docents. A must see while in the area. Lunch is served, Friday, Saturday and Sunday . There is also a gift shop. Fun place to take your club/group for lunch and a tour.

We enjoyed a nice breakfast overlooking the sugar shack. The staff was very pleasant. Pancakes and waffles were delicious. Sausage was a tad spicy but our crew liked it! Home fries were boring, bland and super cold. Would definitely save the money and not order again. Maple cream samples were delicious as was the free coffee in the sugar shack. Maple cotton candy was fantastic. Be sure to get there early or you will be waiting.

visited this morning on advice of a friend WOW!!!!! Marissa and Lindsey took great care of us. Beautiful atmosphere, fresh coffees and homemade pastries. Generous portions and excellent prices. The interior is exceptional and a local potter made all of the coffee cups. Restaurant supports local farms from Washington County and Vermont. Ate half of my omelette homefries and toast. Took the rest home. Highly recommend and can,t wait to return. Serve lunch as well, all-day breakfast on Sunday.
