Liman Restaurant offers the best fish in Brooklyn with an exclusive waterfront fine dining experience to enjoy your specialty Turkish-style Mediterranean seafood with family and friends.
Iâve been coming to Liman practically since they opened in the mid-90âs. Atmosphere is lively and during nice weather the retractable roof opens for a pleasant outdoor waterfront dining experience. Their food is always fresh and cooked perfectly be it seafood or meats. Their appetizers are fantastic - authentic Turkish/Mediterranean. On this visit we enjoyed a huge salad and a plate of sliced baked potato chips. My main course was the Turkish meatballs which were delicious. The sides of rice and wedge potatoes were excellent. The portion was huge and I took home leftovers. Our table enjoyed a very nice white wine. Prices are not cheap, but you get what you pay for - excellent quality. Service is professional and exceptionally attentive. The owner always comes out to say hello which is a nice touch. We are always treated like family.

The food was VERY good. We split tapas after having a tough time choosing as there were many appealing options. Mac n cheese with shrimp and clams was delicious, plantain nachos were excellent, and cheese and asparagus was very good. Seafood paella entree was excellent but a small portion for $26! Drinks were inventive and the short wine list has basic options. I recommend the Tempranillo although wines were priced higher than expected (even for Restaurant mark ups).Service was excellent, we've never been made more welcome. Our server, Danny, was great! He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and seemed to be a genuinely nice guy. Other staff were also pleasant and helpful and practically fell over each other to thank us for coming. Why only 4/5? The price, frankly. I know good food with good ingredients isn't cheap but small portion tapas ranged from &12-$15 each. Too much money for the plantains, the small mac n cheese and absurd for eight spears of asparagus with garlic and some melted cheese. We didn't have dessert.Restaurant has free parking, nice decor and is only three minutes off the Belt Parkway on Cross Bay Boulevard.Again, food and service were great, but if portion sizes don't increase to match prices, or prices don't come down a little we will only visit occasionally after payday :).

From friendly staff to delicious plates Opera deserves 5 stars . Cleanliness, good service and cozy atmosphere welcomes you ! Every authentic Turkish dish ordered is always delicious. You can have a taste of Turkish breakfast along with a pot of brewed tea or enjoy a lamb sauté plate custom cooked to your spicy desire . Menu also caters to light eaters with their various salads . Deserts are excellent, I highly recommend the stuffed figs with walnuts along with a cup of Turkish Coffee. Must visit this restaurant when in Brooklyn! It has a parking lot in the back and valet parking during busy evening hours .

Lucky Boy Restaurant has served The 5 Towns in the South Shore of Long Island and surrounding areas for over 30 years. From authentic Greek-Mediterranean cuisine to American classics and everything in between. Leave room for our homemade cakes, pastries a
We were staying overnight at the Five Towns Inn across the road for a connecting flight at JFK. Iâd read about this restaurant beforehand and thought weâd give it a try!The restaurant is nothing to look at from the outside and could easily be overlooked. Nice simple, home style decor inside with friendly efficient waiting staff. The portions here are huge so be careful of what you order. The place seemed to be busy with regulars and also quite a lot of takeaway orders were being prepared during our visit. It was freezing outside on the afternoon of our visit and the warmth indoors was appreciated. We had a nice meal here and the coconut cream pie for dessert is delicious.Would visit again if in the area. Probably a better bet than some of the other restaurants in the area around the airport.

When we're in the mood for quick take out between 8-9 pm this is our go to. Try the falafel wraps. You get cole slaw and a pickle too. Hits the spot. Will try the smoothies soon.

Claudette catered a private party of 45 people in her beautiful space. I left the food choices to Claudette and I loved what she did. Her food choices were innovative, healthy, varied, plentiful and just plain outstanding. From her falafel and tabboleh, hummus, beet salad to her world famous pigs in the blanket (with her own homemade puff pastry) to her chicken satay, baked salmon, filet mignon, eggplant rollatini, absolutely fabulous lamb chops and on and on. I didnât mention the delicious desserts - banana and nut tart and carrot cake. OMG. I wish I had left overs right now. John, Yarden, Elan, Jose - thanks for all your help. The servers that Claudette recommended - Molly who coordinated the serve staff Adrian, Justin ,and Kinwa did a very professional job also Molly served as a beverage pourer as well. I would definitely ask Claudette to cater future parties and using her space was a plus. Thank you, everyone at Cuisine By Claudette.
