My three girlfriends and I went to Chen's Buffet City for lunch. The price was very reasonable. We walked around the tables I selected from the pans a broccoli chicken dish, one friend choose pepper steak, another some type of noodle dish and the other General Tsao's chichken dish. We all tasted our dishes and every dish but the pepper steak was cold. The waitress said she would warm it up in the kitchen which she did. The dishes except for the pepper steak were bland. We used heavy salt & pepper. I returned & took severe sushi pieces which were good. I also bought dim sum with sausage backe to the table. The dim sum was hot and delicious. We all went back & took more dim sum. I took the pepper steak with noodles & I had it grilled at the grill in the back. The chef asked me what I wanted. I had him add terriakyi sauce & medium spicy. This I really liked. I gave the chef a dollar. My other friend had her dished grilled & liked it. I saw the ice cream cups across from the sushi bar. I brought everything back to the table. All my friends asked where I got the ice cream cup. One went & bought ice cream cups for all of us. This time I had oragnge sherbet. This was really the best part of the meal. I have rated the place average because of the many cold dishes. All of us have been to far better places No one will return.

I usually like Asian buffets but it's not ale\ways easy to find a good one at a reasonable price. Just happened on this one driving around. I recommend it. Food was fresh and not overly salted as it happens often. Sushi quite good but not enough varieties. Enjoy.P.S. Beverage is not included in the price as in most buffets.

The food is uniformly quite good at this traditional Chinese restaurant. The crispy fried fish and shrimp dishes in particular were excellent. The decor looks like it has not been updated since 1986, and is in dire need of modernization. In any event, the food makes it well worth a visit, especially with a large group.

Kumamoto asian bistro & lounge serves the best japanese food, chinese food and thai food around long island area.
The newest addition to the Cherry Valley Shopping Center and a WONDERFUL welcome addition. It's a terrific surprise when you first walk in and are greeted by the friendly owner and lovely hostess. It's a lovely clean beautifully decorated place. It's small and cozy and very stylish! Kumamoto opened a couple of weeks ago and my fiancé and I have already been there 3 times and each time has been better than the last. The restaurant serves an Asian Fusion combination of Japanese (which is done to perfection with sushi/sashimi and rolls also excellent gyoza and shumai) Chinese (best Grand Mariner Prawns I've ever had!) and Thai (delicious shrimp fried rice with pineapple). My fiancé had a Thai curry vegetable mix with the best tasting tofu. Everything was fresh and delicious and the owner was so sweet to give us complimentary fried ice cream for dessert Yum!  The best part is the reasonable prices and 15% Grand Opening discount! They're still waiting for liquor license but you can BYOB until then. I know my fiancé and I will be working our way through the delicious menu!

Were visiting friends in West Hempstead yesterday and went for dinner at Wing Wan. The menu is extensive with almost two dozen appetizers, a dozen soups, MANY varieties of veal, beef, chicken from mild to Sechuan hot. PLUS vegetarian and fish dishes. Also, about dozen types of sushi AND....... for those wanting American fare there are cron beef, pastrami, hamburgers, etc. Portions were excellent as were the prices. Service was prompt and accommodations were friendly/haimish. Take out is also available.

My wife and I recently moved to Long Island and after living in LA for many years, we have been looking for our own San Gabriel Valley chinese food scene out here. Chef Wang has a full menu to choose from and we have not been disappointed so far with all the dishes weâve tried. We had some friends who came over and we ordered the lunch specials which are priced well with generous portions and tasted great. Will recommend this restaurant!
