Where to eat Fast Food food in Fishkill: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I've given this place so many chances. They're constantly forgetting items or making them incorrect. This time I ordered a soup and they didn't put a lid on it!! It was all over my car seat, purse, and tablet! They need new management or to just give up!

This was a convenient restaurant for a quick meal but not worth going out of your way for. We shared the fried calamari appetizer and I had the shrimp tempura. Not sure if their frying oil was old or what, but had some stomach reaction after eating. The accompanying salad was skimpy. Service was prompt, almost rushed. The prices are reasonable.
My wife and I ordered three take-out meals. I called at 3:30pm and asked if they could cook the food later so that I could pick it up at 4:40pm. The gentleman said that was no problem.I arrived at 4:35pm. There were no customers in the restaurant, the two cooks were relaxing in the kitchen, and the gentleman was sitting behind the counter eating a meal. I stood quietly in front of him because I did not want to interrupt his meal. He did not even look up or acknowledge me for maybe about 45 seconds, during which time I felt purposefully ignored. I asked to pick up my order and he asked if I was the one who called for 4:40. I said yes, and that's when he got up and asked the cooks to start cooking the food. I felt frustrated because I called ahead specifically to have the food ready at 4:40pm as we were passing through Fishkill on the way to visit a family member in the hospital and didn't want to have to wait. The food was ready at 4:50pm. When I left, I said goodbye and thank you to all three employees. Only the counter man said goodbye, the two cooks still ignored me.I ordered four things:Orange chicken combination plate with brown rice instead of pork fried rice ($7.75) , chicken chow mein combination plate ($7.25), small order of boneless spare ribs ($5.95), and one pint hot and sour soup ($2.25).That should have come to $23.20; with tax, $25.09. My actual total was over $28. It was higher than I expected but I didn't question it at the time because I was in a hurry to get to the hospital after having waited the 10 extra minutes. Later when I checked the receipt I found a fifth charge, for $2.95, and I have no idea what that was for, because the receipt came only with dollar amounts but no descriptions. One good thing: they have a coupon for a free pint of roast pork fried rice with a $25 order. I hadn't expected the order to be over $25, so I didn't mention the coupon. When I opened the bag, I found the pint of fried rice. It made me happy that they gave me their coupon deal even though I hadn't asked for it, and that sort of balanced out the $2.95 mystery rip-off charge. We didn't care for the food overall. The chicken chow mein was pretty good with a nice garlicky flavor and the greens seemed fresh. The orange chicken was better than average. The chicken was sufficiently crispy and the orange sauce had a nice strong orangey flavor. They gave me white rice instead of brown rice, without telling me. I order brown rice on purpose because it's so much better for blood sugar than white rice. However, to be fair, if I really wanted not to eat unhealthy food, I wouldn't have eaten any of the fried sugary fatty things I ordered. The roast pork fried rice was good/average/OK/typical. It was soft and did not have much pork or vegetables mixed in, but it had a pleasant flavor. The eggrolls that came with the combination plates were acceptably crispy and not greasy inside, but I couldn't discern any flavor other than the flavor of "something fried."The boneless ribs were flavorless and sitting in a pool of grease. They had painted a thin veneer of the sauce, just enough to give the meat a red color but no flavor. They had potential though, because the meat itself was tender and relatively moist (at least, not dry).Another frustration was that I didn't realize until too late that he had put no plastic forks or spoons and no napkins in the bag. I understood why he didn't ask me about soy sauce, duck sauce, hot sauce, mustard, because I saw those things on the counter and could take them myself. However, no plasticware or napkins were out, so I had assumed he had packed them. In fact, as soon as I had paid and the bag of food was put on the counter, the counter man said bye immediately (prematurely) and I had to ask him even for house mustard and hot oil. It feels better when they ask me if I want anything, and it would have been less inconvenient for us afterward had I known that they don't automatically put plastic utensils and napkins in their take-out order bags.I wasn't thrilled with the friendliness of the employees or their attentiveness to my food. I didn't like that they didn't make my order on time even though none of them was doing work otherwise. I also disliked that they gave me the wrong rice and charged me an extra $3. The food was OK; on the whole it was average, but not "definitely the best in the whole region" as my friend described it to me. I don't plan a return visit here because, in my opinion, closer to my home are multiple other Chinese restaurants with more useful staff and far more delicious food.
We have been here many times and will continue to come back. The staff is always friendly and provides outstanding service. Food is the best take out in the area. We have never had a complaint in all the years coming here. All the food is prepared excellent, our favorites are - General Tso chicken, orange beef, boneless ribs and the crab rangoons. And on most occasions, they will throw in a free appetizer.

The place is huge and a lot OF people are eating. The choices are plenty but only a Few dishes stand out. The seafood, clams, mussels and Iceland cream dessert. The rest OF The Food is mediocore as far as Asian flavor is concerned. But a cheap place to eat chinese buffet.
