Iâve been looking for a long time for a good restaurant in WP thatâs not outrageously expensive and looks like I found it. The food was surprisingly sophisticated and good. The wine list is also quite good with different price points. Service was excellent. The decor is modern and the room isnât too noisy. It has all the makings of a great dinner and it delivers. I will be back.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this warm, friendly restaurant. We began with smoked eggplant ,roasted garlic and tomato which was absolutely delicious! The best eggplant dish I have ever had. We also enjoyed the arugula date salad. The dressing was very flavorful and the greens crisp and fresh. At the suggestion of the owner we had lamb chops and beef fillet for our main course. Both were delicious, nice blend of flavors, meats so tender you barely needed a knife! For dessert I had baklava and homemade saffron ice cream. Again the blending of flavors made it an exceptional choice. My husband had coconut cake and enjoyed it. They also have a great wine list. I am looking forward to my next visit to this very special restaurant.

My husband and I ate at Gyro Kitchen today. The restaurant has been "in the works" for over a year, and, as you can imagine, residents of Hartsdale have been waiting to see if what was finally unveiled has the staying power to make it on a tough corner with no parking. Our review:Pro'sThe flavors are great. The shrimp were of outstanding quality with subtle flavors of lemon, parsley, and oregano. The lemon potatoes were so tasty. The grilled chicken was moist and flavorful. The food taste reflects all of the best things about Greek cuisine, fresh, flavorful, and bright.Con'sThe grilled chicken pita sandwich came with french fries in the pita. This style of sandwich may be suitable for some areas but locals here are health conscious and the restaurant should warn you the fries will be in the pita rather than on the side. Also, there was too much tzatziki on the sandwich -- it was overkill. The lemon potatoes were oversalted. The shrimp platter had too few shrimp for the pricetag of $ 20 and the only side options were carbs (french fries, rice, or potatoes). It would have been nice to see a veggie side or a small salad side option. Overall the protein to dish ratio was a little underwhelming and that makes for less of a value than it should. The owner seemed friendly and enthusiastic and the space was welcoming. The food took a bit longer than it should considering there were only two other people in the restaurant. The decor is simple and pleasing. The tables should be wiped down after each guest and we did not find them that way when we sat down. The Greek music was lovely but it seemed outdated -- poppier Greek music would make for a hipper vibe.We will definitely be back, in fact I will try it again this evening for dinner.

Tucked in an non-descript storefront with seats hidden behind a 'to go' counter Turkish Cuisine is nothing special to look at and easy to miss. But the food! The lunch special is a staggeringly good value and comes with appetizer, entree, and dessert. I had the tabule and the lamb meatballs which came with rice, yogurt, and a spicy 'chutney'. Both were beyond delicious - the grilled lamb patties were the best I've ever eaten. They were also enormous and I took a bit more than half home. I also brought the baklava home (which my wife ate and said was very tasty as well).
