Sushi Bar & Lounge
I just happened to find this restaurant. Even though it was a little expensive, it was worth the expense. The ambiance was nice. The food was great. My ramen was served hot. The service was friendly. Street parking and lot were available.

Ken and his staff are very warm and attentive, as soon as you walk in everybody greets you from the wait staff to the sushi chefs. We like going there at least once a week as we are sushi lovers. Sushis are prepared fresh and according to your preference, we especially like crunchy crunchy yum-o!

We went here after my sons graduation ceremony. There were 6 of us. We were seated at a hibachi table, but the table wasn't working (the grill), so they moved us to another table, no big deal. We ordered shrimp & chicken, salmon & shrimp, shrimp & scallops and lobster & filet mignon. Everything was very good. The food was all cooked to perfection and the rice was tasty. They were a little cheap on the vegetables, we each only got a very small amount. The chef put on a very good show and was very nice. The prices are comparable to other hibachi restaurants. The bill was $185 for the six of us, which included a 18% tip. (We did not have any cocktails) I did give the Chef an extra tip because the 18% that they add on to the bill is split between the waitress and the Chef and I felt he deserved more. We all really enjoyed this restaurant, and will definitely be back!

Is it the decor? Is it the exceptional service? Or possibly that Jason and Eric offer the freshest most delicious ingredients? Yes, all of it contributes to a positive experience. Every meal is accompanied by a tasty morsel (amuse- bouche) prepared with an exceptional sauce. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience!

Okay, so, let me start out by saying that they did a great job with the renovation on the interior. It looks beautiful! Came here just before 2pm for lunch, not a soul in the place. I actually thought it was closed. That being said...This is a new restaurant in a spot that has had quite a few previous business failures. There are 3 other sushi restaurants within a 5 minute drive of T.O.A.Here's my issue...There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to charge $5 for a small pot of green tea for 2 people. In fact, there is no reason to charge for green tea at all. I mean, really, how much could that $5 pot of tea have cost them? 25 cents maybe? And that's a generous estimate. You're a new restaurant, that's no way to start off.The lunch special rolls were small and really nothing "special" about them. The Poke lunch bowl was delicious.Server was very nice and made you feel like she was happy you were there.I really wanted to give T.O.A. a better review, but being the honest reviewer I am, I can't. It's just another sushi joint among a sea of many.
