I’m visiting the area with friends and this restaurant was highly recommended by a local. We were so happy we went here for dinner! The food and service were outstanding. Our favs included the grilled octopus, beets, pappardelle bolognese and chicken under a brick. You won’t be disappointed.

Four of us had excellent meals: pasta fagioli soup, meatball parm sub, eggplant parmigiano and the most mussels I've ever been served in a Fra diavolo sauce. Everyone enjoyed their including a nice piece of cheesecake. Carl our server was excellent and I assume the owner Christina stopped by.

Westwind Orchard

Met friends for tapas and drinks on an early fall evening. I usually do not like cider but Westwind's Italian owners make their ciders like fine sparkling winse. It's a magical property, well maintained and sculpted with love. The caprese salad is made with buffalo mozzarella imported weekly from Naples. The gnocchi is actually fresh potatoes. It's farm fresh food with orchard-fresh cider in a beautiful country setting. Wonderful place for family, friends, and couples.

Great family owned Italian restaurant. They do a great job on all Italian dishes. I often get their burgers at lunchtime but got the special salad topped with grilled chicken. My buddy got a salad topped with grilled salmon. Fresh and delicious. And they but the best garlic bread on the table as soon as you arrive. Wonderful friendly staff. It's a regular stop for lunch or dinner.

Frank Guido's Little Italy

I have to eat gluten-free because of health issues. It is not a fad diet for me, but a life-and-death thing. So I always make a friendly point of letting service staff know that right up front, because almost every restaurant has something I can eat, and I just need their guidance in case something I’m looking at on the menu has hidden gluten. I also always check the menu before going somewhere new. This menu indicates that they have some gluten-free pasta. Our waiter here started by making fun of me when I let him know my issue. Then he turned to my friend and asked if she wanted extra gluten with her meal. I ordered a steak, and was told the side dish was spaghetti. Gluten-free? Oh, he says, surprised, okay, well, we can substitute gluten-free pasta. My main course came out with a huge hunk of bread in the middle of the plate. What about “I have to eat this way because of serious health issues” is difficult to understand? Why, if I’m paying for service, being nice, and tipping generously, is it a greater inconvenience to the waiter to take care of me and not act like a (TripAdvisor will not allow me to refer to the waiter’s behavior as being similar to a jack donkey), than the inconvenience to me of several weeks of digestive issues and colitis as well as further gut damage and further future surgery?I eat out a lot. But it won’t be here again.
