Soulful and Elegant cooking with a nod toward Gaelic Gastronomy. True and welcoming hospitality. Refined cocktails, wines and ale. Serving Dinner Thursday to Monday.
Bia is an absolutely perfect experience combining exceptional food with an elegant but unassuming atmosphere with friendly caring and professional staff. In other words - Manhattan culinary excellence without the Manhattan attitude or crowds. Last night we tried the roasted Monkfish which was cooked to perfection accompanied by two fried oysters. My other half had the duck which was tender and delicious. On past visits I sampled the salmon on potato boxty (Irish pancakes) which was popping with freshness, the venison carpaccio was tender and delightful and the lobster, black pudding and braised pork belly which upped the ante on what avant garde Irish chefs are attempting. Honestly the whole thing comes together as though it was effortless from the scrumptious dishes, the cool vibe and the perfect drinks. Welcome to Rhinebeck Bia. So happy to have you in our town!

We have been camping in Adirondack Park and arrived at our Hudson Valley campground in an amazing rain storm (with flood warnings ). After getting drenched setting up our camper, we decided to treat ourselves to a dinner out. We checked out TA for a restaurant near New Paltz since it wasnât too far away. Garvanâs came up and boy are we glad we went! Sat by the fireplace in the bar area which helped dry us off. Husband loved the whiskey selection and the food was amazing. Potato leek soup, arugula and apple salad, the seafood trio and the spare ribs were perfection! The Guinness chocolate cake was the icing on a great night! Almost made us forget about the rainGarvan is attentive and charming.Wish we lived closer!

Stopped in for a bite and a cocktail. We sat at the bar. Doyle waited on us promptly, answered our questions and was helpful. We decided on the boneless wings and Friday calamari. Both were excellent and good sized servings. They have a good wine list and full bar. I had a martini and explained how I preferred it. It was perfect. Great dining upstairs or in the lounge. Thank you for the review and we hpoe to see you back soon. Maybe you could check out the comedy club evry Saturday at 8PM or watch Sunday football on one of our 26 flat screens. Mahoney's
