We stopped for lunch while driving through the Catskills. The waitress was friendly, the service was good, the servings were generous, but the food was mediocre, at best. We ordered hot roast beef sandwiches with gravy and mashed potatoes. The meat was thin-sliced cold cuts on two slices of white bread and covered with canned gravy. Terrible and expensive for the quality. I wouldn't recommend.

The drive out to Rainbow Lodge is gorgeous. Route 10 along the Canonsville Reservoir is a beautiful drive along an infrequently traveled road. Unspoiled nature at its finest. This restaurant/bar is located off the beaten path surrounded by a lovely pond and pristine nature. The setting alone is worth the drive out here. The service & food were great -- we were there for a private party. Drinks were good -- well stocked bar. Their Chili and Peel & Eat Jumbo Shrimp were delicious.

Our friends recommended this restaurant and while it looks like a plain store front, it offers so much more. We went there on a Saturday night, it was early but the place had a good amount of people. We ordered sandwiches and were pleased. Everything our group had was fresh, and tasted excellent. Very happy we found a place to go to that has unique offerings on the menu. Loved the BLT and Cole slaw, was disappointed that they were out of rice pudding, but will be back and hopefully next time we get lucky!
Now a regular stop on the road up to Ithaca College--nice little "local" coffee shop with decent coffee + muffins and pastries + sandwiches. Great alternative to the fast food joints down the street!
You can walk in a sit anywhere. Millers is informal, friendly and professional. They have limited summer hours only and are often crowded. We had the Chicken and Ribs dinner. The Salad Bar is terrific with a great salad, good choice of salad dressings, and appetizers such as chicken gizzards, beans and biscuits.A great choice for an inexpensive yet filling meal.
