Things to do in Ossining
I'm always amazed when a restaurant has amazing food, but terrible service! The food really was incredible! We had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon - the restaurant had very few patrons, although it was around 1pm, so lunchtime. Earlier the day, this town Ossining had a 5K race, so perhaps it was busier in the morning hours & cleared out by the afternoon. If that's not the case, I hope this place is busier during the week.We had 2 cocktails at $13/each, which I thought was expensive, considering the area. The cocktails however were tasty - Pisco Sour and Sangria. We then shared the avocado salad at $8, which is large enough to be shared and my husband had the bifstek, which was very tasty and served with grilled onions and peppers with a side of french fries and rice (we found it odd to have rice and fries), while I had the fish ceviche with a medium spicy sauce which was very tasty! We would have stayed for dessert, but our waitress never even came once to check on us. There was another waiter which we hailed over but he was also useless - never brought us the water we requested. When the bill arrived, we were not properly billed and when we noted this, the waitress brought us someone else's bill. We had to ask twice to get our proper bill. With service and incompetence like this - I'm surprised they haven't hired other staff to work here.

Most Popular Mexican food in Ossining, New York, United States
Went with my husband for dinner. The service was excellent, the food fresh, and well cooked. What was supposed to be hot was hot. If I should have been served cold,, it was cold.Friendly atmosphere, music a little loud,,,however, they turned it down when asked. We will go again
Among the Latino bistros lining Main Street, this simple but authentic Mexican cafe is a standout - especially the giant warm sandwiches & wraps oozing with superb fresh guacamole & other tasty ingredients.
