My wife and I have eaten at the Timber Tavern in Parishville on several occasions and without a doubt, we'll be back many more times. The wings are simply dynamite and the burgers are great - I highly recommend the "Quebecois", which is a "poutine burger" - and order it with extra beef gravy on the side. Prices are reasonable and the quality is very good.Thanks for the review! I'm glad you guys enjoy our ridiculous burgers!

Met up with a friend here for a light dinner. We shared a Duck Poutine appetizer. It really doesn't do its Canadian cousin justice, but it was pretty good with pieces of duck, gravy and specks of curd that looked like miniature marshmallows. My friend had the McDuff Burger and I had a beef on Weck. Both came with nice, hand cut fries. My friend enjoyed his burger, and my beef on Weck was basically a roast beef sandwich on a hamburger roll that had coarse salt sprinkled on top. It too was pretty good. I was going to order a beer, but too many choices so I had a glass of wine.In spite of its name it is not an Irish Pub at least menu wise. No corned beef, no bangers and mashed, but they did have Shepard's pie. We received so many fries with the Poutine and the meals that we had to send half of them back (our fault). It is a nice airy pub with an inviting bar and lots of tables and games to keep you busy. Nice atmosphere for socializing and drinking. Service was friendly and attentive. However, my review is based on the food, so again it is nothing special. A soft drink, glass of wine, burger and roast beef came to just shy of a half of a C note with a tip.So if you go my advice is to order the poutine and one of their many beers and enjoy conversation with your friends.

We have been here twice. Both times on a slow day, and early, close to opening. The first time I tried to use the ladies room, light was burned out. Asked to get light fixed so I could use it. Half hour later still out, advised to use men's room because it had just been cleaned. Dirt and hair all over sink. Only toilet paper available was on back of toilet and had clearly fallen in at some point and dried out. Floor very dirty. Next visit light was on in ladies room which illuminated all the dirt, and hairs on toilet seat. Makes me very concerned about food prep in kitchen. Staff is friendly enough but very slow and inattentive. I gave 1star because the beer is actually good, although a few on the limited list is usually out of stock, and 1 star for the excellent jerk sauce. Don't bother asking for bacon on your burger, it's just weird greasy crumbles.

I have eaten here several times and always enjoy my meals. Staff are fantastic and the restaurant (including restrooms) is well maintained and clean. Lots of food to choose from, decent desserts. Diningroom is separate from the bar area so you can choose where you are most comfortable.
