Located in the shopping center where uncle Giuseppe’s is located, this little neighborhood gem is tucked away and can be easily missed. The staff is friendly and accommodating (much more than the Merrick location). The pita basket is generous with a minty tahini sauce. It’s filled again upon request.Hummus is fresh, the Sambuseh are a delectable treat, crispy dumplings filled with chick pea mash. Even the dolmen, stuffed grape leaves, were tender and not stringy or tough. The salmon shish kebob is garlicky and moist. The brown rice is addicting. More than I can ever finish. Last visit my husband ordered the lamb kebob and was not disappointed, a little over cooked but still tender and flavorful. The Persian tea is spicy and aromatic. Skip the desserts, they need an upgrade, especially the baklava that is too dry.

If you are looking for a delicious home cooked Mediterranean dinner this is your place! We have been here numerous times and have never been disappointed. A bread basket containing delicious Turkish bread served w olive oil and olive tamponade soon arrives at your table. Babaganous, beet salad, spinach pie oh my! All just delicious, perfectly spiced. We had chicken and lamb kabobs and Adonai kabob. Perfectly cooked served with a salad and yellow rice that is to die for. While the portions are large and there are always left overs save room for desert. We love the pistachio balaclava. It’s the best we have ever eaten. Atmosphere is warm and cozy w fabulous service. The restaurant consistently wins top awards every time it is reviewed. This place is a delicious find. Go and enjoy home cooked Mediterranean food at its best!

Food is delicious. Many choices on the menu. Fairly priced. Good lunch menu. I have tried the Flaming Cheese, chicken and pork souvlakis, Greek Salad, and Lemon Potatoes. All amazing. Only 4 stars because the place is limited in seating so there is mostly a long wait for a table. Also, the parking is limited as well.

Santorini Greek Restaurant

My wife and I are regulars at this neighborhood place. I've tried almost everything on the menu, and I love the gyro, but when I'm not in the mood for a meat dish, I typically order the shrimp saganaki. Their chicken souvlaki is delicious as well. For starters, we usually order a large Greek salad... always enough to feed the whole table. If you are not ordering main course, you can order the salad with chicken souvlaki or falaffel, or gyro, etc to make your salad a full meal. If you do not want a main entree, they have sandwiches as well. I think they are closed on Mondays, and they usually go to Greece and close during the summer. The owners actually recommended a couple of Greek restaurants that we tried when we visited Greece a few years ago!
