Was in Glen Cove early on Saturday night and saw this restaurant and decided to try it without a reservation. It has some hibachi tables and booths on the first floor and upstairs has just tables. We decided to eat hibachi with a birthday party if 11 year olds surrounding us. The service was excellent and very accommodating and the hibachi steak was very tender and seasoned nicely, as was the chicken. My only comment were the side sauces. Mayonnaise type Russian dressing instead of a mustard type sauce and their soy sauce that needed some flavor. Crunchy spicy tuna roll was spot on. Valet parking here and a bit more reasonable compared to a Benihana. It does have some Chinese and Thai dishes as well as traditional Japanese food. Definitely go back.

Now it's called Tokyo Sushi. Never been to Tokyo. Would presume the sushi is better there. Pretty awful. Had take out so can't comment on service at the restaurant. But food was delayed about 15min after promised to be ready on line. Salmon was noticeably fishy, as was spicy tuna roll. Vegetarian rolls (sweet potato, spinach, squash) also not tasty. The sweet potato tempura roll even tasted fishy-- I suspect same dry oil used for shrimp tempura, fried calamari etc. Not expected and not good. The tuna, fluke, and yellowtail pieces were ok. Nothing special. Fish:rice ratio okay. 007 roll and Ba Ba Bom roll not as good as I remembered. With many other options to choose from I see no reason to go back.

This is a place we often come for a delicious Japanese meal. Great food, great prices, good for couples, families and even solo.It gets busy and if it is a Friday or a Saturday night you will feel a bit rushed buy the staff. otherwise it's a great place to be.

The Love Boat for 2 is huge, 20 pieces of sashimi, 10 pieces of sushi, 2 rolls, and soup/salad, and it's $49. The sushi is great, but there's no flexibility in the fish you get, as well as the choice of rolls. My girlfriend is more adventurous than me and consumed the mackerel sashimi, and felt it could have been better. Everything else was right on the spot, and for $49 it's a real value. However, it's only a value if you manage to eat most of what is served. I wasn't a fan of the rolls because they had fried eel, and I'm not the biggest fan of eel. If you choose to add another roll (to avoid eating eel) it would bump up the cost by $10. Even without eating the rolls, there was enough food to fill me up.PS - the size of the boat is so big it doesn't fit on a table for 2. If they are busy and can not seat you at a larger table, the Boat actually sticks off the table....
