From the outside the Red Dove looks like a low key pub that ma serve up simple burgers and pizza. However, as they say 'don't judge a book by it's cover'. Red Dove is located in an informal room (complete with pressed tin ceiling) but it's menu is imaginative and the food superb. We went right to the entrees and thoroughly enjoyed the salmon (perfectly cooked and nested on a bed of pasta in a light tomato sauce) and the veal meatballs (served in a spicy, coconut broth with peas and broccoli). There's a good wine list with many locale offerings and lots of craft beers on tap. The service was excellent and the prices fair. You can't make reservations.

The Sociale Café & Bar is the hub for custom cocktails, healthful menu options, and most importantly, social gathering. Whether you are grabbing a cappuccino, latte or specialty coffee, heathy juiced beverage, a scoop of house-made gelato, crafted cocktai
Wasn't impressed with service. Sat at bar,was never greeted or explained that Happy hour specials were available. I'm almost 60 and he wanted to ID me . Then after that got over with, had to basically request a drink, ask for a glass for the beer that I ordered. Then ordered Korean chicken sandwich, felt chicken was dry and needed more sauce or something. Really felt bartender wasnt even trying to keep service. Was not busy. Wont go again. Poured my beer in a wine glass from a bottle.Thank you for your review. We truly apologize for your poor experience at Sociale. We will work with our management to make sure this service is not what we provide our valued guests in the future.

Kindred Fare is a Finger Lakes dining experience inspired by farmhouse cooking and spirited gatherings with family and friends. We are in the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Region and right down the street from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. We have a
We made a reservation for a birthday with Opentable, and confirmed the reservation the morning of our visit. We arrived 12 minutes late and were told that they had given our table to someone else because they thought we weren't coming. Not exactly the welcome we were expecting for a birthday, and this makes me wonder why I bothered giving them my phone number. When we eventually got seated, service was very slow. One of the specials was already 86 at 6:30 pm. As for the food, it was very uneven. The homemade charcuterie and bread were below average and I would recommend against serving things you obviously don't master very well (and charging your customers for them). The rabbit shepherd's pie special was pretty good, the poutine wasn't really a poutine (fries and liquid peppery gravy with a giant lump of cheese at the bottom). The chocolate cookie with fudge arrived in a little cast iron pan but completely cold and I'm still not sure this was really a cookie.

We decided to have a nice dinner downstairs since we were staying at the hotel. The ambiance was very nice and the room was quite lovely.I think if we went back we would just have to try completely different things off of the menu. The wine that we had at $8/glass was only okay. I didn't actually finish it and ended up ordering a beer.My husband had the eggplant with a side of pasta. He felt both items were pretty bland and not comparable to what we usually eat at home. I had a salad and an order of the macaroni and cheese. The salad was small and could have been better. The mac and cheese looked good and was different from your standard fare but it was quite watery.I would probably try going to the restaurant one more time if I was back in the area and would order completely different items based on the reviews here.
