Not you run of the mill diner food, well, maybe it is but it's so much better here. Nice service, friendly staff and good prices. I only have had breakfast and lunch here, but dinner must be just as good.Yes, the brisket is good but so is much more.

La Strada offers a comprehensive italian menu with wonderful presentations. The wait staff is professional and attentive. My wife and I had dinner with friends and the service was excellent. Water glasses were refilled without notice. Our cocktails were ample and fair priced. My appetizer of a wedge salad with bacon and blue cheese was presented on a rectangular plate with care and a professional touch. I ordered the chef's special entreé, Filet of Sole Angelique. The filet was presented perfectly cooked surrounded by rice and steamed vegetables and topped with artichokes and asparagus. The sauce was light and very tasty. My wife's lasagna was delicious and she was able to take half home due to the large portion. I compliment the staff and chef on delivering a great meal.

We were driving south to New Jersey and stopped here for breakfast. Our very first impression was how hard it was to find parking. The diner is in a strip mall, and there is not much parking. We eventually found a spot, but we worried that we'd be towed. (It seemed to be a legal spot, but the parking was a mess!) The diner is kind of dingy and dark inside, lots of dark wood. It could use an update to brighten it up. It looks dirty. The menu is quite extensive. I had the eggs benedict, and frankly they weren' that good. A really great hollandaise sauce can make or break eggs bennie, and the sauce here was bland. The english muffins were just a bit over toasted, almost burnt. Everyone else in our party liked their breakfasts. Again, it was just basic food. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. We really appreciated that. This place has potential; It needs a menu update and a facelift.

YUUUGE Menu! We ate here for breakfast but the other meals coming out looked great,too-generous quantities piled on large plates-Breakfast was fine and reasonably priced. One of our party didn't care for the homefries, thought they weren't crisp enough, but I thought they were good...Good for large groups and families.
