Step Inside, Step Back in Time
Their description of "Step Inside, Step Back in Time" is quite apt. You can get anything on the menu for breakfast OR lunch during hours of 7 AM - 3 PM. We ate lunch after completing the Volkswalk but could imagine being a regular. Huge salads!

I am a fine diner mostly but also like the occasional home cooking local dives. If people are in from out of town I always tell them to check this out. Prices are great HUGE selection and great home cooked foods.Great breakfast food and specials. I love their meatloaf sandwich tastes just like home cooked goodness. I have been there many times and also had take out many times and I have never been disappointed.

For more than 65 years Denny's has been bringing people together over great food. It's the place where people can relax and be themselves; where they can enjoy classic American comfort food and everyday value. 24 hours a day. 365 days a year. Here, you ca
Lockport, NY, has several top-rated diners. Many of our local diners are country style, with the same people at breakfast, lunch, or dinner, each day of the week. But most of the other diners do not stay open 24/7, and Denny's does. So this is a good aspect of Denny's in Lockport, NY, for someone wanting breakfast at 6:00 am.The downside is that at 6:00 am, the staff in this Denny's don't seem to realize they have customers. On several visits over the past few weeks, while eating my breakfast and reading my paper, the staff have wandered around the restaurant almost yelling at each other. On my most recent visit, a waitress called what must have been her 11-year-old son. She was loud enough throughout the conversation that I could hear every word, including her reminding her son that he was 11 repeatedly. Other than background music, there is are no sounds that would warrant waitresses, cooks, and other staff, yelling at each other - not angry, but loud conversation. It is a little distressing and not at all the relaxing environment I would like while eating breakfast. The food is OK, and the prices are what you would expect at Denny's. The actual service is fine too. But the background noise from the staff is a put-off.
Went for breakfast. Service is efficient. Food was only average. Western omelette was decent. French toast was ok but boring. Corned beef hash was not done with chopped potatoes but rather mashed. It was not very appealing.
