Decided to go for dinner as we had not been here since we came for a wedding. Sat down immediately - chose to sit instead as it was a little muggy outside. Warm bread, hummus, olives n another tasty app were put in front of us. Ordered wine and it was cold and the waitress brought over a wine bucket without us having to ask. Everyoneâs food was excellent. Seafood pasta so tasty. I decided to have the roasted beet salad with goat cheese and tuna. It was so delicious I can still taste it. We will be back.

Meet the Business Owner: Miguel- Manuel - Established in 2013 Madeira, a beautiful Portuguese island and inspiration for the atmosphere of the newly opened Bistro 12 in Tarrytown. Life-long friends who have, at long last, created their dream restaurant. J
Had a wonderful dinner at Bistro 12. Small, intimate dining space with great seafood and meat dishes. Our table ordered the sardine appetizer and lobster bisque - both delicious and generous portions. For our main courses, we ordered the seafood risotto, seafood cappellini, veal chop and halibut with lemon beurre blanc. All were ample portions and well-prepared. The halibut was fabulous and the grilled veal chop was very tender and cooked to perfection! What a special place! Hope to return again!

Located in the village of Piermont NY only one mile from the Bergen County NJ border, BASQUE TAPAS BAR offers a variety of Spanish Tapas, Paella, Sangria and specialties from Northern Spain.
We dined here on a Friday night. They don't take reservations for 4, but we had no trouble being seated. We were told that the next time we return they will take our reservation. The restaurant is small and the noise level for a Friday night was tolerable. Usually when there's a bar close by the noise level is unpleasant, but this was not. Later, a group with one very shrill voice was seated by us and that changed the noise level considerably. The service was fine and the food was delicious. We ordered drinks, which oddly arrived one at a time. No trays? Then the waiter brought us 4 slices of good bread with olive oil. Water was not offered unless we asked for it. We had the octopus, the scallop tapas and the special seafood paella. The paella was delicious--the seafood was plentiful, fresh and tender. The rice was correctly cooked. We 4 ordered the paella for 4 and ate it down to the last grain of rice. We shared the flan, which was excellent. There is valet parking, which is helpful in Piermont. We all agreed that we will be returning.
