this is a good place to eat. Even when busy, their service is good. The food is very good and I like how flexible their menu is ranging from full meals to options like just a slice of pizza and half a dozen wings.

Despite it NEVER being my first choice or a place I think of often to eat out at, I've had numerous meals at Mario's because it's a favorite to my parents. We go here for small family get togethers - usually for a birthday. Atmosphere:We've always been greeted warmly upon entering and a waitress comes over promptly after we've seated ourselves. For some odd reason, however, we are NEVER given a full set of menus. Six people are given three. Eight people are given four. Why? Maybe it's the physical size of the menu itself? It's a two-sided 11X17 laminated board and takes up a lot of space at the table. Speaking of tables - crowded, crowded. Six-eight people are expected to share 2 tables put together. This would be okay if the tables were bigger, however, they aren't. It always feels very overcrowded. Lighting is also an issue. The place is dimly lit and it's not quite warm enough in the winter. More light and more heat would be great. Food:But how's the food? I've never had a bad meal here and I almost always end up taking home half of what I'm given. The serving sizes are very generous, plus they give you two baskets of bread. One contains the most AMAZING garlic bread knots dripping with butter and some narrow garlic pizza strips. The other contains smaller sliced pieces of plain Italian bread and butter. I usually get the Eggplant Parm. which is absolutely delicious! The chicken wings are also great but be sure and order them EXTRA!!! crispy. Side salads are also good and of a generous size. On our last visit my husband got the Lasagna. It was just okay. A little on the bland side and not much sauce to it.Prices:The pizza and sub prices seem pretty reasonable, but I think their dinners lean to the pricier side considering the location and the general population they are servicing. If you're heading there for dinner beyond pizza and wings, plan on spending about $15 per person (which includes your drink). They do have a carry-out, also, but I don't know if they do delivery. Overall:Other than the few issues with atmosphere, (table size, menus, lighting, & heat), it's an enjoyable place to eat out at with family and friends. I have no doubt we'll find ourselves eating there again.

I always enjoy the pizza and the owner is beyond helpful and pleasant. If your going for breakfast, the French toast sticks are delicious. They're not the frozen stick from a box kind, but the real deal. I'm sure I will be a repeat offender.
