I really want to like this place. Went for lunch weeks ago, liked it better than tonight's dinner. Maybe was too busy?Octopus fajitas we had as an appetizer. Was a bit bland, maybe had they brought the salsa and lime that are supposed to come with it, it would have been better. Complained to the waiter, got a shrug.Main tacos were OK, but not consistent from prior meal.I'll try it again one more time though.

Out go to Mexican restaurant was at this site for years and closed early in 2017. In mid-June 2017 a sign went up on the store announcing that Mariachi Loco III was opening soon. They have another location up the road in White Plains that I used to go to for lunch fairly often so when I saw they were opening here, I was excited because the other location is so good.Today was the end of the first week of operation and they haven't gotten their liquor license yet - alas no Margaritas for me tonight. No matter. The chips are crispy and not too salty and the salsa, while not terribly spicy (my preference) definitely has flavor an character.I like to judge a new Mexican place by the mole and ML III didn't disappoint. Very tasty and not very spicy but with character. The steak enchiladas are served con arroz y frijoles (rice and beans - the menu is largely in Spanish). The other order was chicken and steak fajitas - the usual fare but as good or better than any other place around.Out the door for around $40 for two - not bad. Even my wife said we will be back.
