So we went here because it was across the street from our hotel and another hotel guest recommended it. One of the best decisions we made while visiting New York City. Food was incredible. Chicken tikka was spicy and flavorful. The chicken tellicherry was spicier and had deep flavor. Naan was great. I knew we were in for a treat when they brought us out hot plates just before the food. They brought us out a complimentary starter which was great and the samosas were great. Service was a 10 and while it looks small from the outside it’s roomy and well decorated inside.Do yourself a favor and eat here. You won’t regret it. Price is moderate but less than I would expect in this city.

We were here for a family dinner (5 people) on a Monday night this week and the food was stunning complemented by fast and efficient service. We ordered dal makhani (authentic fare), palak paneer (really tasty) and pepper chicken (stunning) with naans (fab) and parathas. Truly the best Indian food I’ve had outside of India, each dish was delicious and faultless. We paid $150 for the meal and were given complementary desserts (carrot halwa and gulag jamun - both average taste) by the restaurant. More than the food, the service was amazingly fast and super efficient without a fuss, really seamless and a delightful restaurant I’ll surely go back to when next in NYC

We dined here yesterday evening after a matinee show of, "The Lion King." I know, it's a great show!!!!! You have to see it, but before you do that, let's get back to the review of Indian Accent shall we?! :) :) :) So, this was our first visit to this beautiful restaurant which is tucked away at 56th street in mid town Manhattan. It is part of the Parker Meridien hotel, but also has a seperate entrance for non hotel guests. The food here is absolutely fantastic. The ambience is enthralling and the service is impeccable. Our server was Chang and he made our dining experience truly lovely with his attentive sense of service and sincere hospitality! When in doubt on what to order....and you are lucky like us, to get Chang as your server...ask him for suggestions, he will not disappoint. Here's the bottomline...If you are truly looking for a unique experience, if you are looking for an elevated experience in a "fusion dining" and if $$$$ is not a factor, then the Indian Accent is your answer! This is not your tradional indian restaurant. It's an EXPERIENCE of fusion dining at a whole different level! And the only way to know what I am talking about is to....experience it yourself. See, I could work for their sales team, right? :) Alright with all levity aside, believe me, you will love this restaurant! And if you take my advice and dine here, then you have to try their unique and creative cocktails, especially, "Neer More." Trust me, you will thank me! :) Kudos to the Chef, the kitchen staff, the dining staff, especially a "big thank you" to Chang, the host and hostess and to the owner! You have a great thing going.....well done! God willing, we will return soon!Cheers!! Sai
