This is a barebones (and sometimes noisy) Mediterranean restaurant with very good food and great service!Portions are large and the prices are reasonable. I love the combination plate, which has hummus, tabouleh, falafel, baba ganoush, and stuffed grape leaves (for about $14). It's filling, authentic, and tastes great! The pasta dishes ($13-15) are huge and very good. The gazpacho ($5) is pretty good, but too heavy on raw onions.Piles of excellent pita bread are provided.

Jines has been in operation for many years and is especially well-known for its great breakfasts that feature just about anything one might want. I have tried a couple of omelettes and they were first-rate. I have also had lunch there. The various sandwiches and salads don't disappoint. On one occasion, my young nephew enjoyed a thick steak that was cooked to perfection. The waitstaff shows concern for providing good service. Prices are extremely reasonable. This is a good spot to visit in the Park Avenue area.

Pleasant greeting/service. Neither cold, hot or noisy. Flexible! i.e.: you can order an item from elsewhere on the menu added to your meal *even though your meal normally doesnât include it*. Very generous portions, lovely tender beef & fresh crispy veggies. Good value too. I will return for sure.
