After a spectacular day at Bethpage State Park playing golf, I needed a good meal for the ride back to the family. I looked at Tripadvisor and chose the Grecian Grill. A wonderful choice indeed! It was almost nine PM and pretty quiet with a few tables finishing up. I was quickly provided menu and drink. I ordered the Felafel and it was awesome served over rice with mixed vegetables and it was delightful. I finished it off with baklava, one tasty treat. It had a small cozy feel with wonderful service; that old mom and pop dining experience that was warm, cozy and fulfilling. It was an enjoyable day finished off with a great meal at the Grecian Grill. Enjoy the Grecian Grill when in Farmingdale NY!
serving breakfast all day, lunch, catering, delivery, located on Route 109, Farmingdale across from republic airport
On a recent business trip, my colleague and I stopped at this deli and had a quick lunch. The menu was VERY IMPRESSIVE with a little of everything. I wanted a pastrami sandwich on rye and my colleague got corned beef. Both were very good. I selected potato salad with mine and it was very good. Value priced for a lunch. They have a few booths to eat there which we did but saw lots of people coming to get takeout.
I really want I give this place some publicity because they're under a year old and the food is amazing!! I love the owner of this place he truly appreciates everyone that comes in and is just a down to earth guy.I've had the chicken gyro, lamb gyro, souvlaki and falafel. Cheap prices, ridiculous portions. This is one of the best falafels I have been able to find on LI and goes well with the creamy flavorful tzaziki sauce. Food is always fresh. They have a bit of a seating area but this place is more take out fare but I've been here approx 10 times and have had an excellent experience each time. Also, they open at 6am (I believe) for breakfast and the lunch special is the greatest deal around: $7.70 +tax for a gyro, choice of drink, and a choice of Greek salad (yummm!), rice, fries or lemon potatoes. I have nothing but good things to say so get on over there and spread the word!
