chewy "cold skin" noodles are quite delicious and can also be ordered hot.the seasoning and texture is unique and that is why this chain of restaurantshas become so successful. Note that most locations of this chain of restaurants is no frills, self serve, and crowded. Many in food courts or basements. For an adventurous outing you can try several restaurants in the same food court and try one or two things at each one.

I rode the #7 from Manhattan and walked through a snowstorm to get the luscious dumplings. Zero regrets. For an incredibly low price of $6.50, I was treated to dumplings with perfect texture, wonderfully balanced flavor and pungent pickled vegetables. I inhaled them at the formica two-top, surrounded by boxes. It's tiny, no-frills and worth a long train ride.

Great, messy, tasty falafel pitas and more. They always seem to have a nice crowd of regulars. And despite the hole in the wall look, they have a grade "A" and even a decent website with online ordering.
