Dad and I sought out this little place based on the TA reviews. So glad we did! Very convenient to the Chautauqua Institution, where we were staying. Dad had eggs, bacon and an english muffin. I asked for a half order of traditional eggs benedict - and they were happy to oblige, thankfully (I can't eat that much!) Both orders came with fruit garnish. The building was built before 1900, and was a general store for years. It really brought to mind the general store in the small town where I grew up! We enjoyed our meal so much that we returned on our last day before heading home. Don't miss this charming cafe.

Forget any cheesecake chain you've been to...this puts it to shame. This is a hidden gem! Homemade everything with a few gifts to peek at and a very unique building. Perfect for a casual date or best friend lunch...In the middle of Mayville...so close to all the shops. Will never buy another cheesecake anywhere else. SUPER FRIENDLY owners and I LOVE supporting hometown businesses.

this is a nice, average, minimally-staffed, perfectly acceptable diner,, especially afficianados of the Ward & Dickinson,, manufactured nearby in Silver Creek... recommend the mac and cheese, not sure what they're talking about about the divers, as the lake is quite a few miles away
