A dozen booths couple of 12 tops 4 four tops plus seating at the bar full. Bar has a large high top and a couple of small booths. Friendly staff. Lunch specials Fries are breaded, golden and tasty. Coleslaw is an okay mayo-vinegar mix. BBQ Brisket is fork tender but roast beef-esque not real BBQ flavor. The pulled pork was finely chopped and a bit on the greasy side. Pulled pork needed ketchup the fries didnât. There are only two sauces: original, which is a little spicy, and sweet with a bit of mustard. The meals are served in metal tray with paper bottom. Chocolate chip cookie sundae was good and bad; the cookie tasted refrigerated, but the ice cream and whipped cream were light and tasty. Bottom line: okay but better choices for BBQ

Bad to the bone catered a party at our home for 35 people. The food was delivered promptly and hot. Everyone raved about the food. The quantity of food was a lot and many took left-overs home with them. Customer service was organized and pleasant. I would highly recommend them for party/picnic catering events.
Wow, the owner put his "foot in his ingredients"...YUMMY! Visited Sweet Wood BBQ for the first time in July 2017. It was a bit busy because Webster was hosting their Jazz Fest and the various restaurants had jazz acts within their establishment hence the crowds. However, the wait was not bad at all. The restaurant is very quaint and cute. We ordered the fish & chips special. Great portions for the price which was about $12. You also get the homemade coleslaw. I don't usually eat the coleslaw but theirs was very good. The cod fish, very flaky I think it is a beer batter but not greasy. We dipped our fries in the homemade ketchup, yes, homemade. To top it off, we had the individual size Mondavi Chardonnay bottles, only $5. The food was VERY delicious. We sat next to a number of guests and this was their first time too. They had ribs, brisket, mac & cheese, beans and they all LOVED the food. Great job to Eugene and his lovely wife. We'll be back!!
