The natural orange juice is delicious and so are the empanadas. They have a variety of flavors to choose from. The downside is that they are a bit pricy and had items listed in their menu which they did not have at the cafe. Other than that, it was a great experience.

By far, this Pollos Mario is the best restaurant offering typical Colombian dishes. The prices are very fair and the plates are loaded with the best of Colombian food. The taste is exquisite and the variety is tremendous. Every time we travel to New York, this Pollos Mario is a must for us. Pollos Mario is a chain, but this particular location is the best by far.

This Argentinian steak restaurant is situated in Queens, in a neighborhood so full of different flavors. We had been here years ago and I am glad it is still here. Order a small steak , it is pretty big. Medium cooked is best. The margaritas were enormous and the avocado salad with watercress and shrimp is very interesting. Our friends had the American mixed grill and said everything was cooked to perfection; we had steaks and they were amazing as well. The chimichurri sauce adds a different zing to it. The sides were nothing to write home about ( I would have preferred a baked potato) but hey! We came for the steaks. The atmosphere and the service are nice too, not noisy and the servers are prompt. Park in the hospital parking across the street, have your server stamp your ticket and the parking is free. Very convenient.

Located in Jackson Heights. Top 10 Best Wine Bars by Travel&Leisure Magazine 2018. Sommelier on-site every night. Tapas from Spain, France and Italy. Live Flamenco shows every Wednesdays night 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM.
Have visit addictive wine and tapas bar on both locations. This time on the larger corner restaurant. The ambiance is excellent, staff and the owner is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their food and wine. The tapas is excellent and by this point we have tried the whole menu and have been very pleased with everything. They have a large selection of fine wine and even fine wine by the glass and a rare but excellent service is that if you canât decide on a wine they suggest and you are allowed to taste. Both the tapas and wine/beer are moderately priced. If you are in the Jackson Heights area this is a must. On the weekends they are mostly packed so please try to make a reservation in advance to make sure you donât miss this excellent place. Thank you Oscar for your review!

This was my first time eating here and I wasn't disappointed. I went with my sister and a friend. I had the Matambre with potato salad and tongue salad. The others had short ribs and skirt steak with salad and sweet plantains. All was fresh and delicious. The flan needs some work and the volume of the music was so loud that we had to ask for it to be lowered and they obliged. The service was good!

Established in 1994. Welcome to PIO PIO, our "Casa Alegre" (Cheerful House), New York City's Premiere Peruvian restaurant group since 1994, specializing in Pollo a La Brasa (Rotisserie Chicken), authentic cuisine from Peru and our famous "Green Sauce"!. W
It is easy to over order here. We wanted to visit with our family so decided to get food to go rather than eat out. Since there were four of us we got the Matador Combo; the menu says the "most popular". We had drinks from home; nothing ordered from the restaurant.Well, the combo is enough for about eight people! Or four who don't care how much they weigh. It included a very juicy and flavorful whole chicken split; nicly spiced outside and juicy inside. A portion of yellow rice and red beans; the best part was the beans, the rice was not seasoned but definately yellow. Fried plantines; testones and sweet plantaines and salchipapa were also included. There was some avacado sauce and a viniger dressing for the side salad. They provided plenty of the sauce and dressing in small portion cups.We ate all we wanted the first night and had leftovers for a few days following. The chicken remained juicy and I used the fries in a hash I made. Pick up was quick and convienet. Check out was fast. I did leave a small tip with the takeout order.
