We did a road trip out to Montauk this week and shared a cold Lobster Roll from Sammy's On The Go, Sammy's food truck that was parked at the point. In our opinion, it was the perfect lobster roll, made with very little mayonnaise, lots of crunchy celery and a perfectly toasted bun. Cathy, the woman who served us, promised we would enjoy it and we absolutely did!

Had a great dinner last night. Seated at the window with an amazing view. A special shout out to our server, Kenny...he was so attentive, informative and friendly. It was so nice to pull into a restaurant at 7 p.m., have car valet parked, be seated immediately and have a delicious dinner with excellent service!

Previously located at Westlake Marina, The Clam & Chowder House is now located at Salivar's Dock. We have two full bars, indoor and outdoor seating, a rooftop bar with an amazing view of the harbor with live music in season Thursday-Saturday, a full sushi
Had a great dinner with family and friends. Ordered a variety from the menu. Everything was fresh & delicious, not to mention the oversized portions. Disappointing that 4% is added to your bill if you pay by credit card.

We enjoyed an excellent dinner at Scarpetta Beach at Gurney's. We asked for a outside table with our reservation, and we seated along the railing with a wonderful view of the ocean, beach and sunset. Superb location! We started with two excellent drinks - their âSan Remoâ and âPalermo Old Fashioned" cocktails, both spins on a Negroni. Nice, generous pours of liquor, as there should have been for $19 each. The fluke crudo was good; I wish, however, I had tried the yellowfin. Our waiter described the black cod as "blackened and spicy." Thankfully, it was neither. The skin on top was spiced, but mildly so. Very tasty dish, perfectly prepared. My wife enjoyed the lavender glazed duck. Very pleasant evening dining under the stars, and the culinary highlight of our visit to "The End."

We all had seafood and no one was disappointed. Oysters, little necks, shrimp cocktail excellent. Seared tuna excellent. Pleasant surroundings, good service, good cocktails. A good seafood destination. Thank you for coming by our place for some fresh seafood and drinks while you were in Montauk. We're pleased you found it all to be enjoyable with a pleasant atmosphere. You're welcome back for more whenever you're nearby. Take care, The Gosman Family

We called for an early reservation, and were told that they wouldn't be able to sit us indoors because they were booked, but they had outdoor seating for us. Normally not a big deal, but the weather was extremely iffy, but we took the chance! We got there a little early, sat at the bar, and the hostess told us that she would be able to switch things around a little and sit us inside...great!We were given our menus and then also a Price Fix menu...turns out everything that I was looking at, was on the price fix menu, so why not? My husband ordered off of the regular menu. To start, we had Lamb Meatballs and Pork Dumplings. They were both delicious, and a nice portion. For our entrees, I had the Pork & Peaches and my husband had a NY Strip. My pork was just beautiful all around Pork cutlets grilled with grilled peaches and a peach puree. From the presentation to the taste...the only thing I can say, the potatoes needed a little salt. None on the table and I didn't want to ask. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly he couldn't stop raving about it....asked if I wanted to try it, but I didn't because I actually felt bad taking a bite away from him, he enjoyed it so much! For dessert, we had Key Lime Pie...very nice and refreshing. Definitely worth a visit to Muse at the End.

Family Run, Fun and energetic scene with Great food and a Great Bar! Outdoor seating right in the Heart of montauk town that is great for people watching, or enjoying all the live music over a drink!
We went here because of the positive reviews, because it is one of the few pet friendly places in the area, and because it is near our motel.Firstly, the menu online had cheaper prices than the current edition..sometimes quite a difference. Market pricing perhaps? Anyway, coming from a region that is also highly priced (and enjoying Greenwich, CT and Fairfield County), nonetheless we were shocked at the prices in Montauk, and Gigshack fits right in. $38 for a lobster roll with potato chips! $12 for a side of grilled asparagus! The crowds (and the amount of children) amazed me.I wanted a lobster roll (although I'm not as taken with the mayo-based sort, I wouldn't throw one away either) - although putting it on a croissant didn't really appeal. Regardless I had been waiting for this trip to partake. I was willing to pay a premium. But there's a line, and Montauk crosses it. So I had the puttanesca, very good, but a small portion. My husband had the two fish tacos, also good. No appetizers, no dessert; a diet soda and an iced tea. Now, the iced tea had fallen into that disagreeable state of having been left around so that it tasted dishraggy. That usually doesn't happen in good restaurants (or even at Denny's). I was going to ask for it to be replaced, but the server never came back. No one asked how we liked our meals or if we needed anything. When we left, $80 lighter for a small amount of good but not extraordinary grub, there was a 45 minute wait to get in.Inexplicable, especially since they didn't even have dogs.

Great place for a casual fish lunch or dinner - everything from chowders to catch of the day is super fresh and well prepared. Prices kinda reasonable for pricey Montauk. Sunset views from 2nd floor dining room adds to the charm. Service fine by waitresses who've been around the block a few times. Place is usually packed with groups and families even in off-season, so a bit of a wait is possible. Worth it.

Excellent cocktails!! Extremely busy restaurant!! All plates are meant to be shared. No kids menu so I am not sure why so many bring their little ones.....The food is excellent especially love the calamari salad! The outside gardens and the dock are so pretty!
