We stumbled on this restaurant while passing through Hampton Bays, and were pleasantly surprised by the fresh seafood and the prices.Portions were generous (especially the lobster roll!) and the clam chowder was superb!Definitely recommended to visitors in the neighborhood.

This is my new go to for Fish. Reasonable and great food. The portions are large. ( I'm a fan) My favorite is Oysters fried. in basket. Soups are OK portion not large. .. My wife likes the Baked, blackened or broiled. Fresh caught various fish. I'll probably be back this week

Well folks.......I have been out in Hampton Bays for 7 years and said many times that "I have to try Villa Paul" I cant believe it took me 7 years to get here. Villa Paul is a wonderful restaurant which offers an amazing dining experience. Denise our waitress was just amazing with her table service and control of the delivery of our dinner. We went all out with the apps.....escargot, fried calamari, mussels in white wine and garlic, meatball trio and baked clams....yes folks, we went all out!!!Ford diner we ordered the shrimp scampi, Tuscan chicken and the amazing roast duck in a cherry sauce.. oh boy was that delicious... check out the pics!We had a great time here tonight, service was amazing and the night was memorable...after 2 bottles of Chardonnay...whew, and dessert! Is that right....2 s's?I look forward to my return!WOW, thank you for your wonderful review! We are so happy that you enjoyed your experience with us, and Happy Anniversary to your in-laws! We were stopping by the Shinnecock Canal area in Eastern Long Island and topped by this place which was located in a marina on the west side of the canal, not far from the old OBI East/Canoe Place Inn. We came at 11:50, before it opened for lunch and a crowd developed. We were seated on the deck at noontime and I had the shrimp hero and my friend had a burger. Both were very good and there was still a line waiting to get in. This is a very nice place.

We had a spectacular day and evening to enjoy with our friends. We ate at Edgewater and were happy with the service. The scallops were good, stuffed flounder was ok, the salads were fresh. I wish I could say something great about this place, but I canât. Food used to be better I think. Maybe it was just an off day. The view is worth another try.Consistently crafting a perfect meal is truly our passion, Marie, and I'm sorry to see that this wasn't the overall impression you left with after stopping by. From the ingredients to the finished product -- it's all about showcasing the very best of the best. We went for dinner on a Wednesday night and sat in the dining room side. Quiet and pretty ambiance. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share and one entree. The squid appetizer special was good, as well as the burrata and spring rolls. I got the clam chowder soup which was so flavorful. I was so full I only tried the filet mignon entree. Service was on point! I would definitely return here.

Awful for many reasons. The restaurant and outdoor deck are fresh and new. Pretty views of the canal but beyond that not much else to praise. Large menu but upon seating we were advised what was not available on the menu. The list of unavailable items grew after we ordered. Fried calamari was dry, the chicken quesadilla was misnamed, whereâs the chicken? The Irish nachos instead of the described potatoes were ladened with cheese and ground beef over potato chips. The fried seafood platter was a breaded mess. The flounder, shrimp and scallops were overladen with coating. Ready bought breaded at a restaurant supply and thrown into a fryer. Bar b que ribs were tough and almost no meat between the bones. They were served with over cooked watery string beans and a baked potato. The waitress did substitute cole slaw and French fires. The stuffed shrimp featured tiny shrimp with huge balls of bread stuffing, the ever present canned string beans and rice. The shrimp arrabiatta was commendable with large shrimp and tasteful spicy tomato sauce. Service although accommodating was painfully slow. We had to ask several times for items, the ordered second glass of wine was brought at the end of the meal. Too much chattering amongst the staff and not enough time in the dining room. Overall, the views do not make up for the chefâs inexperience and overall indifference to his/her âcuisineâ.

This beautiful restaurant is situated by the water with some fantastic views of the boats and water. We came to this place for late lunch or early dinner. They donât take a reservation for two but they said they have a table at the time we called them. We got there and found a valet parking, quite a big parking space here. Then we followed the path walk to the restaurant. Along the way thereâs a nice garden all around. Beautiful decorations inside and outside the restaurant. We had a table right away, by a glass window. We had Brussels sprouts for appetizer. This one was quite salty. I didnât care much for this. Then my entree was the swordfish that was served with corn and couscous. This one is highly recommended! The fish was fresh and the taste was excellent! Hubby had the Cowfish burger. I tried a piece. The fries was good, not greasy, and the burger was pretty good. We adored the ambience. The service was excellent. We had Allegra serving us. She handled the table really well. After the meal we took a walk outside to take some fresh air before going to the valet. We had a nice experience and hope you will too. Cheers!

Whether you are having just a blackened fish sandwich, or going all in with oysters on the half shell, the food is good, and the service is great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lobster rolls are a nice treat, and the chowder is quite tasty. A little over-priced, but not ridiculous. Right next to the Hyatt if you are staying in the area.
