A local owned hometown tavern offering American and English Fare, along with a huge selection of craft beers and sports viewing!
Tavern at Windsor Park has most of the usual gastronomical pleasures we associate with US bar food but Windsor includes a fare selection of delicacies from the British Pub as well. Not always associating Shepherd Pie as a favorite is OK but who am I to deny my fellow patrons the joys of experiencing a true English favorite. They manage to blend the two cuisines into a perfect experience. Along with the decidedly British decor and way more draft beers than most US bars would normally offer makes it feel somewhat like a authentic London Pub, forget that your in the heart of East Amherst on Transit Road. The service was friendly and attentive on Friday, go a bit early unless your fond of waiting for a table.I enjoyed a true Buffalo delicacy of Beef on Weck and fries with more than one of their generous draft beers.A, group I belong to had dinner here recently. 40+ member were all satisfied with the food and service which is a rather difficult task considering their diverse backgrounds. The Tavern fills a niche that has missing on the Buffalo food scene and does so in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.Who knows you may even come to appreciate British pub food.Hello Rick, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review! We consider The Irishman a different type of Irish pub. We blend the best of the old with the best of the new. Our decor and friendly staff evoke images of the great old pubs of Ireland whereas our style of operating â our music, food, beverages â connect
I thought the atmosphere was great with ample indoor and outdoor seating. When weather is good the outdoor bar and seating area is a great place to sit, eat, drink and talk with friends. Indoor it has a very nice pub atmosphere with dark wood decor, tables and booths. The menu was an excellent pub menu but was more extensive than most. There are excellent appetizers. The food was served quickly and the four people in my party were all very happy with our meals and would happily return. The wait staff was attentive and professional.

Everyone in Buffalo, NY, knows that one of best sports bars in town is Santora's Pizza Pub & Grill. The Transit Road location features 42 different taps to enjoy while you watch the game on one of the 110-inch TVs studded throughout the restaurant, and wh
We happened to go here the same day due to it's close proximity to our hotel... I'd give it a 4 1/2 for lunch and 3 1/2 for dinner.First off, it's a sports bar, so I wouldn't recommend taking little ones past say 5 or 6. The menu is EXTENSIVE. Almost a little too big... during lunch we were trying to figure out which combo we wanted, and felt rushed because you have to flip back and forth through the menu. It took about 20+ minutes for us to decide, and lunch specials end at 2. Granted, we were exhausted due to the nature of our stay in Buffalo, so maybe we were just a bit overwhelmed. They offer traditional American entrees, pastas, pizzas, bomber sandwiches, an extensive salad menu, soups, apps... probably more I've forgotten about. We decided on a salad/pizza combo, and pasta/soup. Minestrone was very good, salad was, well, a regular green salad but fresh (beware... there's an upcharge for salad dressing... huh????), pizza was thin, crispy, and decent sauce, and lasagna pretty good, although basic. They DO use fresh herbs though.Went back for a small pizza during the "big" hockey game. Our waitress was a little slow, place was so loud we couldn't talk, and bathrooms trashed. Of course, that's to be expected at 10pm during a game. But the QUALITY of the pizza went from a 9 to a 4. Undercooked, sauce all on one side and cheese on the other, and just kinda gross. So, I guess it's a hit or miss. I don't expect an establishment of the like to be quiet during a hockey game in Buffalo, NY, LOL, but I DO expect quality food.

We visited Santora's while staying at a hotel down the street. The restaurant has a large bar and lots of TVs. We sat in the dining area in a booth. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Our pizza was very hot and good. The Caesar salad was fresh, crisp and good. We enjoyed our visit and would return.

Home of the original Chicken Wing! On a Friday night in 1964, Dominic Bellissimo was tending bar at the now famous Anchor Bar Restaurant in Buffalo, NY. Late that evening, a group of Dominicâs friends arrived at the bar with ravenous appetites. Dominic as
It is surprising to find a first rate place to eat at an airport but the Anchor Bar at the Buffalo airport is a delight. We had four adults and 2 kids and the service was friendly and efficient. The wings were delicious (Treat yourself to the plain ones for simple pleasures)and the kids had sandwiches and chicken - all first rate at a reasonable price.Thank you for leaving us a review! We are glad you enjoyed your meal with us!

First visit but definitely not the last. There were so many inviting entrees it made picking one difficult. We tried 3 different burgers, all cooked as requested, juicy and piled high with variety of different toppings. Chicken Caprese...enough for a 2nd meal and Black & Blue Steak salad, tender & delicious. Also, a nice children's menu and a very extensive draft beer menu.

Stopped here with friends before a show. I had pan seared Salmon which was GREAT! Friends had Acadia Fish & Chips which looked twrrific. They said it was good. We started with stuffed banana peppers, good but needed 1 more to the serving.Service was outstanding. The noise from the packed bar area was hardly noticeable. I've heard the wood fired pizza is good so we'll haveto go back.

I stopped with a friend on a busy Friday night with a wait time of 30 minutes. I tried the roast beef sandwich with chips and it was very good. I also had a cup of their chicken wing soup and it was wonderful. My friend liked his chicken fingers. We washed the food down with a couple of craft beers and we also enjoyed the peanuts and popcorn offered for free.
