My wife and I decided not to cook last Friday and instead visited this Applebee's which is fairly close to home. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated but we're quite surprised by the large number of empty tables we saw on the way to being seated. Why was everyone waiting we wondered? Our waitress Karman was very friendly and quite helpful as she explained the new menu items. We both opted for a new item which combined two different types of food for a set price ( $10.99 or $12.99) . The food was very good though it did take awhile to arrive and had the waitress apologizing for the delay. Again surprising, since there were many empty tables and could hardly be classified as crowded. All in all a good experience and fair value.

First time at this restaurant pub and the food and service were fantastic. Open face turkey sandwich was loaded with plenty of thick turkey breast slices, creamy gravy a wonderful compliment. The roast beef on a soft roll was filled with tender and well seasoned roast beef. So yummy. Husband enjoyed one of their specialties - a stuffed banana pepper served on a roll with your choice of meats. He opted for the turkey, same thick slices as on the open face sandwich. All served with French fries. Service was very friendly and efficient. Restaurant has a bar on one side (it was filled with after work folks) with a few small tables. Another room serves as the dining area, all tables were occupied when we arrived around 6:00 pm. We were seated in the bar area, no problem. Noise is light to moderate, no issues in hearing people at our table talk. It is obviously a local favorite, will definitely return.

Finally got here! Fantastic! Four of us went on a early Sunday evening. I had the RIBS. Five nice sized perfectly bbqed with just enough sauce. Their own Cole slaw, vinaigrette. Came with French fries, I substituted mashed potatoes. Delicious. Plenty for left overs. One friend had roast beef on wreck, she said the best ever. Another had chicken cutlets with fresh spinach, mushrooms and a light sauce, she cleaned her plate! One had the burger!!! Fabulously big and cooked perfect. Needed both hands to eat it. The wRiter was top notch. Can't wait to go back.

This place is tiny. Not fancy at all. Great place to stop for a beer and sandwich while running around getting your weekend chores done. Beef on weck was very good . I'll put it on my top 5 list. Ahead of swistons or mitchells. And the chicken fingers are huge! And delicious! Hands down best fingers in Buffalo. We will be back.

Our first time stopping in for a bit to eat and a beverage, we were seated in the dining room very fast and waited on very quick, Our server Alisha was very friendly and fast serving us, and helpful in giving us directions, because it was our first time there! The atmosphere is very pub style, and clean. We had the Pizza logs , which are good, and we also ordered the Loaded fries, well that was awesome, such a large serving, enough for 4 people, and loaded is right. If you go there you have to order them, Another table saw our server bring them to the table, we all laughed because it is huge, but very taste, Thank you!

Food is great. Resturant/bar setting. Usually busy on the weekends, but plenty of tables. Bar is on the smaller side with tables in the bar area. Full menu. Good food, good service. Food comes out fast after order is placed. Nacho's with chicken is a huge platter and a meal by its self! Nightly dinner specials.

Opening six months ago under new ownership the Phoenix has been relabeled Phoenix at 269, its street number. We visited on a Saturday evening and where warmly greeted. The menu still has some of the old dishes sprinkled among new offerings. Service was prompt and attentive. Surprisingly, you can get a fish fry on Saturday as well as Friday. and it is big.The salmon was well prepared. The spicy tofu noddle had a kick, but was vegan. The shrimp and grits, a hold over by popular demand, offered five shrimp, plenty of sausage, but I would have like a bit more grits and slightly thicker. Full bar and an adjacent parking lot. Would recommend visiting this neighbor gem

Always a treat to visit. Friendly servers. I had agrilled chicken salad. Lettuce, black olives, grilled chicken, tomatoes, cheese and more. Very fresh and filling. Comes with two pieces of French bread and butter. My friend had a bacon cheeseburger. Huge.

We chose this restaurant because of the diverse menu and because of the decor which is a conversation inspiring! The Parkside neighborhood is great! Full of great architecture, museums, parks, the zoo, and this great restaurant! Enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich immensely. When handed the bill, Was pleasantly surprised to see the total cost of the meal in Canadian $âs offered at a reduced exchange rate! So nice to see that they care about their Canadian customers and want to keep them coming back! Will definitely be back! A big Thank you from your Canadian customers!
