The American Grille is a modern, newly renovated addition to East Aurora. Being a stoneâs throw from the village makes us an outskirts gem. American Grille is for friends and families seeking a place where great memories will be made. Itâs a welcoming ven
We made a reservation two weeks before an event. On the day of our party of 15 we were placed into the main dining room. The patio room reserved was given to another party. The feature on the menu, smoked ribs would not be ready for another two hours. We were there at the prime dinner hour 6pm.A shrug of shoulders and an apology was given. We wonât be back.Thank you for the feedback. I'm not sure if the staff made you aware that the other "party" of 50+ was actually a banquet for a funeral. Under the circumstances, I'm sure you can imagine they would prefer some privacy. The person that took your reservation of 15 was unaware that there funeral group would stay that long and we took action to make sure your had seating together in the main dining room. Our ribs are one of our special items and very popular. We do try and have all of our menu items available, however we ran out from a large lunch crowd. Unlike many restaurants- our smoked ribs take a total of 6 hrs to smoke...hence the reason they were unavailable at 6pm.I do hope you will take these thing into consideration and visit us again in the future.
OK, I am Irish and thought a dining spot called The Irishman would look more Irish. There are a few nice Irish location photos. No Irish music! Food in the menu has lots of Irish references, but it's basically good bar food. If you are looking for an Irish bar experience, look elsewhere.

Kodiak Jacks, in Marilla, NY Tuesday Night, Wing Night! Ordered our wings along with a dinner salad and battered mushrooms! Blue cheese is extra! Salad and mushrooms were excellent along with the chicken wings, which were huge! What ruined it, was the three orders of optional blue cheese dressing, which was so Watered Down, you could of drank it through a straw, along with being half filled containers, which we were charged for! Its a shame restaurants do this to good food to up their profit margin, ruining really good food!

Stopped for an early dinner with the kids. Great atmosphere, amazing whiskey and bourbon selection and nice beer list. The veggie burgers were outstanding. So were the roasted Brussels sprouts. Vegetarian menu items were clearly marked on the menu. Chips and French fries were okay. Service was excellent. Street parking was easy to find at the early hour. We will definitely be back for drinks!

My husband had heard good things about the fish fry here so on 2/15/19 we decided to see for ourselves how the fish fry was. They are also supposed to have good pizza here. The menu has several choices-from pizza to sandwiches to salads........ On Fridays the fish fry is offered along with other Friday specials. This place is located in East Aurora-a small village located south of Buffalo, NY. There is on street parking and a lot by the side of the building. We arrived early-just before 5:00 PM-and the place was very busy. On the side of the building it states "est. 1881."We were directed to the hostess who seated us at a nice table for 2. There is a bar area and 2 dining room areas. This is a casual place. Nicely decorated with memorabilia on the walls. All the Friday special dinners come with homemade coleslaw, homemade macaroni salad, rye bread, and choice of potato. The potato choices are baked, french fries, sweet baked, and German. You can also substitute onion rings or sweet potato fries for additional charge. You can also add sides for a charge. Take out is available with a charge of $1.00. The Friday specials are served from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Our server was Dana and she was friendly and provided great service. We did not have a long wait for our dinners and the food was hot as expected. My husband ordered the whole/full fish-Greek style. It was a good sized portion of fish topped with spinach, tomatoes, olives, onions, and feta cheese. His potato choice was french fries. He said every bite of the fish was superb. It was cooked perfectly and the taste was very good with all the ingredients balanced. I ordered the half size broiled fish. I asked for Cajun style. I was expecting the fish to be spicier than it was. I would have preferred more of a kick. My potato choice was German and it was terrific. I could go on and on about how tasty it was. Next time I'm going to order an extra portion of the German potato salad. It was perfectly warm and not too vinegary. I loved it. I really like that Wallenwein's offers the option of half size as my portion was perfect for me. The coleslaw and macaroni salad were good too. Not too much mayo which I personally prefer. But the highlight for me was the fish and that fantastic German potato salad!Cost for our dinners with coffee was $32.93 without tip. Credit cards accepted.Since we live in Colden this place is close. We had a good experience. The food and service were very good. We will be back to try some of the other fish choices. Maybe even the pizza!

We stopped here for lunch with our kids and grandkids after poking around East Aurora for a few hours before they headed back home to Delaware. Beautiful old working train station that has been meticulously refurbished! Was relatively quiet when we arrived and our waiter seated us quickly and returned to take our drink orders. He was very friendly and clearly experienced and ensured that we had everything we needed and were happy throughout our visit without every hovering or trying to move us along. Great place to eat - really decent food - great service!

Took daughter and her husband and grandchildren here for lunch. We sat outside which was very nice. The service was very good. The food was also very good. The burgers were great as were the french fries. The fish tacos were good but quite undersized for the price. If not for the fish tacos which a few ordered, this restaurant would have been given an âexcellentâ rating.

Unparalleled commitment to quality, local collaboration and authenticity help make 42 North Brewing Company a staple in the Western New York region. World-class craft beer complimented by a small, locally sourced food menu featuring farm fresh ingredients
So glad we finally got out to East Aurora to 42 North Brewing. First, friendly staff. Were great about letting us know we could have a taste before ordering a full pour. That is one of the best things to let customers know you are serious about your product. The beer was very good, took a four pack home. Didn't get to try the food this visit.Second, super cool place. Huge bar, lots of tables. Beyond the main room, there is a game room with shuffle board and other games, and downstairs is a really nice outdoor space with a huge fire pit. It was really worth the drive there.

When we return to East Aurora, Bar Bill Tavern is always on our must visit list. Western NY is the only place where we can find Beef on Weck sandwiches. Kimmelweck rolls have salt and caraway seeds - and with fresh roast beef and horseradish sauce are yummy! Of the 6 members of the family attending today's lunch, only one chose coconut shrimp - and really liked it! The rest of us truly enjoyed our Beef on Weck. Our hostess was great - trying to find a table for 6 is tough in a small tavern. Our server was super!
