We had eaten here a few times during the summer and weren't very impressed but when we ate here recently the atmosphere was improved by the fireplace and darker interior. The place could use some infrastructure updates but the food is good and the service is very good. Prices are very reasonable. Hot turkey dinner with real roast turkey for $12.49. Mixed drink $6.25. Our server Charlie took good care of us...the food came out a little too fast but that was OK. It seems to draw a local crowd and they place serves our purpose for dining with our elderly father.

C. H. Evans Brewing Company at the Albany Pump Station, Albanyâs premier location for food and hand crafted beer. With up to 10 in-house brews to choose from, The Pump Station is sure to have something for every beer lover.
Nice atmosphere. Relaxed brewpub feel. Waitress and other staff are great. Beers we tried were okay, nothing stood out, but all were drinkable some better than others. Do a flight, pick ones to your taste. The food was good, had large portions. We would return.

Quality ingredients matter, that's why we shop local and support local. Where our food comes from is important to us. Roux's culinary team visits our local farmers once a week to hand select seasonal produce and meats. Our seasonal cocktail list features
First time dinning here. Decent place, low keyed, service was average. There were five of us, three of us ordered the burger the other two got the mac & cheese. Both dishes were quite good and plentiful. Menu was limited but if you want a decent burger this place has it, The Mac & Cheese were terrific. Nice comfort food. Bar offerings were standard. Prices slanted to the high side. If you stay away from alcohol you'll do alright. Otherwise you're probably looking at $35-40 per person.

Background: I was with a large group (7) of colleagues in town for a conference. Originally had made reservations, but ended up showing up about an hour early, but was seated quickly with no problems. Atmosphere: A casual, bar atmosphere. The restaurant is filled with antiqued, long picnic benches and tables that can accommodate about 8 or so people. Music was playing both in the main dining room/bar area and in the back kitchen- where you wait for your free pizza. Service: Was a bit slow, but it seemed there was only a few servers on the floor and it was pretty full when we arrived. Our waiter was friendly and patient as we asked a bunch of questions (What's on the pickle plate? Is it pickles?) and requests- (in stead of chips, can I have fries?). Food came out slowly, but pizza was there to fill in the gaps. At least apps came out fairly quickly.Food: A unique mix of modern and classic dishes. Lots of twists! Like the pickle plate had lots of pickled items (cauliflower, fiddle-head ferns, garlic, but no traditional pickles). Many of us ordered the pulled pork, which did NOT disappoint. Friend had the burger said it was good and other friend who had the curry chicken sandwich was happy too. Would I go back? IT is definitely a place to grab a casual meal with friends or colleagues after work. It had a fun atmosphere and solid food. I would come back if I was in the area again!

We go here every time we are in Albany! Love the rotating beer selections! Hot Pretzel is so good, and comes with two types of mustard. Tomato Soup was amazing! Reuben is described as Albanyâs best, and it lives up to its name! Kimchi Reuben was so tasty! Something different to try. Lobster roll was so delicious. Stoutly French Dip was amazing. Rory our server was friendly and efficient.

Informal place to go for good food at a reasonable price. Absolutely nothing fancy about the resturant or the food, just a high value place to get something to eat. Very much Dinner like.

We've been here before and continue to return as the food and service is excellent. The staff is very well trained to wait on customers. This is a credit to the management. The food service in the back is always perfect in their preparation of meals served by the wait staff. It is a great friendly atmosphere. Their menu is diverse enough to satisfy all eating styles.Thank you so much for the wonderful words! It means a lot. We look forward to serving you again soon.Sincerely,Robert MalkusOwner

O'Slattery's is the kind of place where you find yourself chatting with someone you don't know; this happens almost every time we go there. They make specialty cocktails that are delicious and not just gimmicky, and the best hamburger I've ever had (and I've been eating hamburgers for 70 years!). Everything I've eaten there has been fresh-tasting, well prepared and well presented. Service is friendly and usually efficient. The only downside for me is that it's noisy, though it might be less so on an off night; we always wind up there on a weekend. All in all, a top-notch Irish pub.

The Twisted Vine was a wonderful restaurant to enjoy an evening with family. The service was great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was welcoming, cozy, and friendly. Their wine selections had a variety of options and they have periodic live music. We ordered the pecan encrusted salmon, beef barley soup and the pear & apple salad. All of the food was absolutely delicious. The parking lot for the place itself is somewhat limited, but there is plenty of parking nearby on the streets. I highly recommend stopping by if you have a chance. Safe travels!

We went to Swifty's for the first time this week after hearing positive word of mouth. We were not disappointed with a menu that offers an incredibly wide assortment of appetizers, wraps, sandwiches, entrees, etc...I had a beef brisket sandwich with waffle fries that was fantastic. My wife enjoyed her BLT with sweet potato fries. Service was attentive and we enjoyed being able to dine outside on a beautiful spring day.
