Mohegan Lake, or, rarely, Lake Mohegan, is a census-designated place (CDP) located in the Town of Cortlandt and partially in the Town of Yorktown, both in Westchester County, New York. Mohegan Lake was named "Lake Mohegan" in 1859 by William Jones, who owned the Mount Pleasant Hotel on the East side of the lake. We always order out from here - hubby loves the ceasar salad with breaded chicken cutlet and mozzarella sticks. I like the beer patties. My favorite is just when I can stay and eat there. Everyone is friendly and the food comes fast. Pizza is good. Nice local place
This place has whole wheat, and multi-grain pizzas. In addition to regular pies. They have very creative pizzas and salads. You can eat indoor and they have tables outside.
I would go with 3.5 on this rating. Nonnaâs is a very popular local pizza place in the middle of the small village of Putnam Valley. There is very limited seating inside but I know it is primarily a take out place. I really do like their pizza. Today my daughter and I went with meatball wedges and a couple bottles drinks. We were going to eat at the two stools at the window counter but one of the three tables opened up just after we ordered. The wedges were good. Small size meatballs and just enough sauce. It is clearly the best pizza place in this small town.

How is it possible to take food this wonderful for granted? We are so used to the great food here that we forgot how lucky we are to live nearby.
Of course, you know what the menu is at Pizza Hut, but does yours have a super nice staff and a rest room so clean is shines? This is one of the nicest Pizza Hut restaurants anywhere. Oh and if you are still hungry for desert, stop in next door for top-it-yourself frozen yogurt.

As a resident of northern Westchester you get used to mediocre pizza, especially after living and working around the block from Cataniaâs in Yonkers. I canât describe my excitement when I saw that Jeff was moving his legendary pizza up north. I now have been there back to back nights. The small calzones were delicious. The buffalo pizza like nobody else makes, the pizza crispy but not over cooked. Instantly Cataniaâs became the best pizzeria in the Cortlandt, Yorktown and Mahopac area. We canât wait until they start delivering but are grateful to have Cataniaâs up north.
Even though there is a Pizza Hut a couple of doors away, this is the best Pizza in Northern Westchester. They have the "Family Feast" dinner which consists of: A large Cheese Pie, a Large green salad, a side order of chicken wings, a pasta dinner with marinara sauce and bread, and a 2 liter bottle of soda. There is enough food to feed a family of 4 for $28.00, and the food is very good. They also have coupons for other great deals for takeout.
Where to eat Italian food in Mohegan Lake: The Best Restaurants and Bars

I've lived in the area for many years & have dined here many, many times. The owners & staff were always lovely, friendly & accommodating. The food was always consistently terrific. However, lately they are falling short in all areas. During a recent Sunday afternoon visit we were seated immediately but then waited forever for drink orders to be taken. The restaurant was not particularly crowded so there was really no excuse. The bread (usually a favorite of ours) was stale & the butter was melted to the point of being liquefied. Our house salads were wilted & our appetizers cold. When the entrees finally arrived they were ok but not up to the usual standard. I didn't see the owner so I am not sure if they are under new management. Maybe they are preoccupied with another location? All I can say, is that we were sorely disappointed. Not sure we will return for a while.

Had the Calamari Fra Diavalo. Made fresh, good red sauce, friendly staff, owner on premises and circulating, clean well maintained dining area, clean restrooms, mid level pricing as expected, expansive menu. All and all a great experience on my quest for the best in Westchester. Go, youâll enjoy it.
