If I could give this 7-stars I would. What was supposed to be a casual birthday dinner turned into an unexpectedly amazing night.Food-wise, the four of us started with the bruschetta and mushroom apps. Both really solid. I got the oregano pizza. As a huge za'atar fan, this might have been my favorite pizza toppings-wise I've ever had. The labneh is what really pulls it together. The pizza itself was very high quality.I was sitting next to a spaghetti carbonara aficionado. Its her litmus test at every Italian restaurant (and she's been to many). She said this was top-3 in the city. The four cheese gnocchi was out of this world. I only had a bite of the birthday boy's dish, but the gnocchi melted in my mouth and the cheeses were blended to perfection.Lastly, the chicken parm was supposedly excellent as well. We were all incredibly satisfied by our meals. At the table next to us were two women who had mouth-watering looking dishes as well. One of them was controlling the music in the restaurant. I'm not entirely sure how it happened, but she put on a song we requested, and we all started clapping and then dancing. Turns out she was the owner! She refilled our drinks, and brought out a birthday tiramisu with a HUGE sparkler. Just look at how happy the birthday boy is - the picture says it all!We ended up hanging out at the restaurant for several more hours. The owner, her friend and the staff were so much fun. Even a spilt glass of red wine and a ruined dress couldn't stop us. My face actually hurt from smiling and laughing so much.It was one of those magical hospitality moments that will stick with you for a long time. I'm certain you won't replicate our experience - and frankly, we couldn't either if we tried - but no matter what, this place is worth the visit.

Last night in NY, so we went to the Village for dinner having found this restaurant on TA and because it offered GF food as an option. It was small and busy, and we waited 5 minutes for a table. The food was great and between us we tried a range of food, including GF pizza, pizza, salads and chicken. All were well cooked and presented and were delicious. Beer was good and their Pinot Grigio was lovely and light. It's a cash only restaurant and prices were very reasonable for NY. Highly recommended!

We were our for a quick easy dinner and found Norma. Professional servers, nice selection of appetizers including the nicest octopus capriccio I have had anywhere in years. Good wine selection (no hard liquor). Pizzas were exceptional. Coffee and dessert great too. Not cheap, but far from expensive. A little loud, but clean and upscale. I be back.

This place is amazing! The real deal! I have never found a better restaurant in NYC! This is now my absolute favorite! Truly authentic food. Not only the most authentic Pizze Napolitane I've ever eaten (and rivals with some I've eaten actually IN Napoli) but pastas and appetizers are all unbelievably authentic and great quality. The entire restaurant has a feeling of love. Love for food, love for customers, love for life! I love this place!!! All the guys who work here have a wonderful sunny and friendly disposition and really understand customer service. They seem to love their customers and strive to make each customer feel special. With so few tables and such quality I hate to reveal these truths about the place and let out the secret because I always want to find "my table" and "my spot" here and return to find the same quality, prices, authenticity. Somehow I have a feeling this won't change. This place reminds me of how NYC used to be. This is old NY at its best. It's a great great place and if you've actually eaten in Napoli you will appreciate it even moreso. This place....!!! I love it!!! Special thanks to Luca/Lucca (?) for running the show and doing it so well!!!

Love this place. We got a nice bottle of wine suggested by the waiter. We tried 3 different pizzas: the burrata special (only available Fri, Sat, and Sun), a white pizza and a spicy red. All were amazing. Crust was airy and perfect with the right amount of toppings. We were stuffed but had to try the Nutella dessert pizza and it too was wonderful. Not overly sweet and again with the perfect crust. Would definitely return.

Ahhhh...great choices. My husband and I split the eggplant parmigiana and a wonderful pizza with caramelized onions. Brilliantly, the server (also an actor, and so very dear), brought each dish separately so neither got cold! We didnât even think to ask! Incredible tastes. Loved each bite and had a slice leftover! Convenient to Broadway! No reservations but we happily got a table for 2 at lunch. Definitely recommend!

Very cozy, real italian pizzeria in the heart of Harlem, great pizza and wine selection
If you like wood-fired pizza, welcome to SottoCasa. Their ingredients are top-notch, and the crust is at once chewy and light as a feather--pizza perfect. The service was prompt and friendly, even on a Friday night. And the facility is charming, if a bit noisy. Remember that sotto means bottom--this place is at the bottom of a brownstone and is easy to miss.

After visiting the botanical gardens, feeling peckish and craving pizza we checked our go to on-line adviser and off we drove 20 minutes to this homey pizzeria. Servers smiled and warmly greeted us as we entered. The space appears small but there was a sunny welcoming outdoor dining area. We felt as if we were dining at the home a a friend. My slice had the requirements of good pizza; thin crispy crust with a hint of salt that crunches just a bit when I sliced my incisors through it with a thin layer of cheese that when pulled from my teeth formed a string from my mouth to the slice. A light layer of sauce added a bit of acid and sweetness that enhanced the flavors. The pizza was not oily. Priced at $3.25; a bit expensive.OK, now the CALZONES; the best I ever had. A variety of these cheese stuffed breads were available. I had the broccoli rabe. It was huge, enough for dinner. The crust was nicely thin yet thick enough to hold the savory ingredients, slightly salty filled with mozzarella cheese and fresh tasting broccoli rabe. I side of red sauce for dipping added sweet, salty moisture. My husband had the chicken parm. calzone; he gobbled it up so quickly, I just know he enjoyed it. Each were reasonably priced at $6.50Things to know, ample parking, cash only, ATM available and no delivery.
