My husband and I went to this Pizza Hut totally unaware that they were having a car show. The place was full, but within a couple of minutes a table opened and we were seated. We thought that it would be a long wait for our pizza but it arrived quickly and our order was perfect. This is a small town and they usually don't have such a big crowd. Great job!!
Market Street pizza has the best pizza in Johnstown. That said, be prepared to wait quite a while for your pizza. There have been times I've waited nearly an hour and a half. They don't take credit cards, so make sure you bring cash. Would also highly recommend the garlic knots and the wings.
Casual place, fluorescent lighting, cafeteria style tables but great food and inexpensive. We stopped for dinner on our way home and pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Very affordable and exceptional service. Our waitress was very friendly, we had polite conversations and they insisted we take our time in spite of being close to closing. We each had different Italian dishes and we each enjoyed.
My husband and I have been here a few times. One of the times we actually had to ask to have pizza made for the buffet. Today was much of the same. There was pizza out that looked like it had been there for two days. I had to ask for the ranch to be refilled and for a spoon for the sunflower seeds (this was at 12:30 so not sure why it wasn't done when they opened at 11). I also had to ask for a refill of my husbands soda. All of these requests were filled by the delivery guy, who was about the only pleasant experience of this trip. He said our waitress was in the back ordering uniforms. I'm not really sure why that couldn't wait- we were literally the only people in the restaurant and weren't there for longer than a half hour... The delivery guy even took care of our bill for us. I told him I wished I had cash so I could tip him instead of the waitress... He really did deserve it... The other complaint would be that the outside doors do not close correctly so it was incredibly cold and there was no music playing. I don't know what's going on with this place but hopefully it gets better because I know we will be going to johnstown from now on...

Typically the best pizza is not from a chain (Pizza Hut is GROSS) however Dominos in Gville is really great!!! The cheesy bread and Philly cheesesteak pizza in particular is so good. The service is always fast and friendly and ordering/paying from the app/website makes pick up a breeze. Literally the only reason I venture into Gville.
This restaurant has a good selection of Italian dishes, all of which are quite good. Comfortable, clean, nice dining room. Good waiters and good service. Plenty of parking (paved). Very popular place due to great value for meals. House wines and beer available. A pleasant experience at medium prices. Only drawback is it is a little noisy.

Whenever I travel thru Gloversville, I try to visit Mendettas for their pizza. Their pizza reminds me of the pizza you'd get in NYC. Large slices with sauce that goes right to the crust. They use only the finest cheese and sausage.Baked goods are well prepared too.If you crave pizza/slices, this is what its all about.

I had lunch here and enjoyed it. Quick service, had a booth, waitress on the ball. Lots of specials for lunch and dinner. I had the chicken souvlaki platter and loved it! Plenty of everything. Partner had fried fish sandwich and said it was crispy and good. Prices are very fair for lunch, higher of course for dinner. Very large menu, everyone can find something to eat.
