If you've never had NYC pizza, I suggest you try this first. The pizza is thin crust and comes to you piping hot, super cheesy and salty!! (Perfect pizza combo in my humble opinion) The place is small and you have to stand at the counter to order, but they move quickly and get you in and out in about 5 minutes on most days. Definitely worth a try when you're in town!

Nick's Pizza Forest Hills has been serving up thin crust pizzas & calzones for over 20 years. Melty mozzarella and fresh ingredients in Forest Hills, NY.
I had no problem with the food, but I had a problem with the manner of service that I received. I asked him to have some wider width lemon wedges for my water so that I could squeeze them into my water. Well, he refused to go into the kitchen to cut a lemon the way I wanted. He also refused to get me a lemon from the kitchen so that I may cut it myself. All I was left with was these non-squeezable really thin lemon slices that absolutely did nothing. These lemon wedges are a garnish, whereas, I should have never been denied these lemon wedges for my water. A very reasonable garnish request from a guest inside of Nick's having dinner should have never be denied. This is the cost of doing business, an extremely small cost, mind you. My bill was $40.00 Good service means as much as the food!!Gary, rest assured you're right to expect outstanding service here -- I'm truly sorry for any miscommunication on our end regarding your lemon wedges. It's great to know you enjoyed the food overall, and I hope you'll have another opportunity to join us for a visit sometime soon. You can always expect a warm welcome here. All the best,Gus, Owner

Fiamma 41 opened it's doors in October of 2013. Though the restaurant is very young, the recipes are not. Mama Maria, whose recipes are the inspiration for Fiamma 41's food program, was born in Matera, Italy, where she learned how to prepare only the most
Came for a family celebration with 3 generations. Itâs a beautiful venue. Food and service are fabulous. We enjoyed fried calamari and the hot appetizers (mushrooms, eggplant, & shrimp). For entrees we had several kinds of their brick oven pizza, salads and pasta. Everyone loved the food.

We have eaten here with friends a number of times. It is one of the few places allowing sharing. The atmosphere is unpretentious, the service friendly and the food good. We shared calamari and a salad with shrimp. Filling and we left clean plates. Parking in front is difficult, but there is a lot in the back.

...or have it delivered if we choose! The pies are delicious. The heros are overstuffed!I cannot eat more than a half at a time! They have great weekday Daily Specials or a "anytime" pick up pie with either baked ziti or salad (w/6 huge garlic knots) for under $20.00 . The people here are always nice including the wait staff and drivers. Not the closest to home, yet we order at least once in two weeks from here.

Picked up a pie and some side slices over the weekend. The pie was half peppers and onions and the side slices included mushrooms and pepperoni. We're still chewing on the pizza hours later. The dough and cheese were super rubbery and unwelcomed. Even our 3-year old pizza monster daughter didn't finish her slice. The pizza chef is on the crusty side too. Wouldn't mind seeing a plastic glove or two worn or a hand wash between customers. Really tough to get a good slice in north east queens in general. Best bets are Amores and Grimaldis. Allora is not bad, too. Good luck.

Years ago, this was a terrific neighborhood pizza place; now its a great upscale Italian restaurant. Prices are in-line with fine dining in a casual Queens setting, but this place never disappoints. The food is consistently generously-portioned, high quality, and always tasty. The waitstaff are attentive, but not overly responsive (viva New York!) We keep going back--its really the best food on Union Turnpike, whether you're a St.John's college student or a longstanding neighborhood resident (as are we).

We were in town for a wedding. I asked someone that worked at the hotel to suggest a place to eat. He highly recommended Brotherâs, so I went there with the kids. The pizza was awesome! It is very authentic Italian, homemade pizza. Thin, crispy crust. Very busy, as many people there told me that they drive quite a distance to specifically come here for their pizza. The owner and staff were very friendly. We had four slices, should have just ordered a whole pizza! We did end up getting a whole pizza right before leaving for the airport. $2.75 for a slice, $16 for a whole pizza. Highly recommend.

Piccolo Sogno is owned by Executive Chef Maurizio who brings his culinary talent and vision to each dish he prepares for his guests. We are waiting for you in our italian restaurant near Bayside, in Flushing, Queens, to taste something special.
Lovely family Italian restaurant and pizzeria. Visited with 2 other family members and enjoyed ourselves. Service was great. At least 4 different associates came by including owner to check up on our dinner, pizza, and drinks. Meal was well prepared and enjoyable. Had an Italian dinner two days earlier at another restaurant which cost 5 times more for 6 people-a mistake. Should have picked Piccolo Sotho instead. In summary, great food, reasonable prices, good value, nice presentation, great service where you are not forgotten. Italy comes to Flushing. Will return on next trip. thank you
