Back behind the drycleaners there's a area across the road from the tire place...while this sit-down pizza place may not exactly leap out at you it's well worth the poking around needed to locate it. Offering the standard walk-out slice menu, the restaurant also offers a full Italian menu with some traditional and more creative choices all prepared very well. The real separator here arises from the well-chosen wine menu on both the by the glass and full bottle sides. The back of the dining room gives the illusion you are hanging out at a friend's Italian place an illusion furthered by the place being hard to locate. In short, while the take out pizza and sandwiches are excellent, try it for dinner.

Amore is a true culinary tour offering a limitless tasting event of all the varied regions of Italy, matched and celebrated with great wine vintages. After over 25 years, it's simple, rustic and flavorful very good Italian food and Bronx style pizza~
We went to Amore last night for the first time and had an amazing experience. We were not very familiar with the area (not being from Armonk), but our daughter had a piano recital next door and they were able to get us in for a last minute reservation after the recital. It was very busy and crowded, but they made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and treated us like family. From the hostess, to the busboys, to the superb waiter, Sammy, to the manager, everyone made sure we were well taken care of and that we would want to return. The pastas we ordered were delicious. And the pizzas and salads we saw at neighboring tables looked delicious as well and we are hoping to try those on a future visit. And when our daughter decided she was too full for dessert, they brought complimentary little scoops of salted caramel gelato with whipped cream for the 3 of us in honor of her recital. What a special and thoughtful touch - she felt like a VIP! Even though we have many other restaurants closer to where we live, we will definitely make the trip to Armonk to return to Amore just for the outstanding service we received. We are already planning our next visit there. Every business should treat their customers this way - this is how you build customers for life!!

We were looking for a "new" place to try and found this on one the web.We dined here on a recent Saturday. Had a 6:45 reservation that was honored right on time and we were seated promptly. The place was already busy and about 80% of the tables were full.It was VERY noisy and tables were close but everyone managed. Service was friendly and prompt. We had a tasty "eggplant stack" appetizer that came hot and crisp. The eggplant was firm but juicy. The accompanying greens were fresh and the dressing was very good,The salads were OK but unimpressive. We had the Classic Caesar and the "Wedge" Salads. The Caesar was crisp but a bit "watery" and could have used a little more dressing. It was a competent version of Caesar but not the best I've had. My friends wedge was a little smaller than versions from other restaurants and its not like iceberg lettuce is scarce. The entrees were another story. The ribs were very good. A nice blend of sweet and savory sauce was plentiful and the meat was classic "fall off the bone" tender. Portions were ample and the french fries and coleslaw we both delish. The prosciutto Flat bread also was tasty and the turkey burger was juicy altho a little on the "thin" side. All in all it was a good experience and we will come back. You should try it too. Thanks for visiting and I'm happy to see you were pleased with your experience! We wish you'd been more impressed by our salads. Please know you should always let us know if you're unhappy with your meal and our team will do what we can to take care of you. We do tend to get busier at certain times, especially around dinner on the weekend. I'm thrilled you enjoyed your eggplant stack, ribs and flatbread. Hope to see you soon

Westchester's 1st & only social-media friendly pizzeria, offering authentic and affordable Italian cuisine to all Westchester residents.
Tried out Sal's based on the trip advisor reviews. Was really impressed with the quality of the pizza, as well as the selections offered. We decided to use them for my daughter's party at KIDS U. The pizza arrived on time and was delicious. While the kids enjoyed the plain, the adults savored the Marsala pizza, the chicken parm pizza and the grandma's pizza. Unlike their competition, their pizza actually has flavor and the shop is pretty clean.

Go for a simple slice of plain or pepperoni. Classic pizza place with great customer service. I love to eat a slice there, but I am not happy with the way the pizza is when delivered. This is true with many pizzerias. Overall a good choice for pick-up or eat-in!

Wood and Fire Pizza, a family owned wood oven pizza restaurant, presents the best in delectable, traditional Neapolitan cuisine. Our wood oven gourmet pizza comes complete with a unique, contemporary twist. Our wood oven gourmet pizza has garnered acclaim
Given the number of restaurants in NYC, itâs remarkable how few there are out in the suburbs of Westchester county. But my friend knows the good ones and we seem to all enjoy the selections. Salads with great grilled chicken, along with pizzas were all tasty. The outdoor dining area looked lovely but on a 98° evening, we went inside. The a/c in the non-bar area of the restaurant wasnât great, but very tolerable. Iâm sure weâll return on a future visit out east! :)

I was surprised to be so disappointed in this place. Family of four including an out of town guest stopped in for some pizza. The place was empty, they told us to order and sit down. We started to order and the man behind the counter said, "go sit down, we have her for that". He pointed to a rude, cold waitress. She finally came over (again, the place was empty) and didnt seem to understand what we were saying. She was not disabled because we heard her talking to the man at the counter. We had to get up and get our own drinks and she finally took our order. After waiting a very long time, our meals arrived barely luke warm. When I picked up my napkin, I realized it was USED.. big food splotches dried on it.. she quickly grabbed it from my hand without saying a word. The food was bland and the service remained terrible. I don't like to call it service, because there wasn't any. I will never ever go back there and waste my hard earned money. Before leaving, I told the manager I was unhappy and he didnt even say a word!!
