The bread that started was excellent; the olive oil was just olive oil - could have used some balsamic or oregano... I ordered the chicken provencal special. It was tasty, although I am not partial to the really thin sliced chicken breast. The sautéed spinach with garlic was tasty; they could save a little money by using less oil.

We split a chicken bacon ranch and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Both were delicious, served on nicely toasted rolls. The people who served us were all very nice and friendly; the place was clean, with probably six tables to sit down, if you don't want to take out. We'll go back!
I have been going to sub 17 for a couple years now and they are the best and biggest subs I've ever had. They have all sorts of specials aside from your standard Italian combo, turkey etc. Aside from subs they also have delicious pasta!! I really enjoy this place , also it's run by very nice people

Went to visit some friends, they always order from here when it's pizza time... they have it delivered. Service to the door is also friendly and quick service within 30 min. Sicilian pie is good too, fluffy not heavy. Calzone baked, chicken parmigiana, chicken wings. All good for a take out.

My companion and I were staying at the James Motel around the corner and we ordered delivery from here. One speciality pizza, half Mexican/ half meat lovers, Meatball Parm sub, buffalo wings, cannoli, fried dough & deep fried Oreos. The pizza at $15 bucks was amazing. The meat lovers was ridiculous. Toppings completely covered the cheese and were piled high with bacon, ham, pepperoni, meatballs & sausage. My only negative is there was excessive grease. The kind that runs down your arm while your trying to jam a massive slice in your "Pie hole." (Yes. Intentional). It was delicious. The Mexican half was very tasty also. Big pieces of chicken, marinated onions, jalapeño peppers & poblano peppers (I think ?). Great flavor, less grease. My friend loved her meatball parm sub and fried dough. The cannoli was just ok . I wasn't expecting much I just saw it on the menu. Let's keep it real. It's a pizza joint not an Italian bakery on Federal Hill, Providence. The fried Oreos were good hot. Once they cool , not so much. This would be my pizza place if I lived in the area. The wings were tasty they just had no heat even though I emphasized I wanted them HOT. I would love to sample more of their menu. Highly recommend

We had an excellent Italian dinner at this very pleasant Italian restaurant near the Woodbury shopping center.Service was outstanding, the toilets were very clean, the decor is interesting and complex, and several dishes from the vast menu were beautifully prepared.Servings were very large, so sharing a single dish is a real option.

The food was quite good, but the wait staff and servers were among the best I've had in recent memory. We passed on the specials of the day, but regretted it later when the menu selections seemed kind of massed produced....(and some strange pasta choices for the types of food). All in all, a great night out. Bring anyone here, and they will be impressed!

The Orrechiete with pancetta and fresh peas, served with a mascarpone cream sauce, was excellent. My mouth is still watering at the memory, 18 hours later. Also superb was the chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto and fontina and served with a mushroom Marsala sauce. The green beans that accompanied the chicken were cooked perfectly al dente. Bravissimo!

This is a friendly, noisy, large restaurant, with very good Italian food, overall. The eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti ($15.95) was very good, but needed more sauce and less cheese. The chicken piccata ($16.95) was a bit dry, but came with very nice potatoes and overcooked green beans. The raviolis ($14.50) were excellent though and the salads quite good.Service was efficient and friendly.

Delicious food in a casual but classy setting. A cheese lover's dream-come-true. Arrive hungry; leave thinking you'll never eat anywhere else but Scalia & Co. Located next to a ShopRite in a strip mall, but when you walk in you're in a whole other world. (The strip mall location allows the owners to have this restaurant plus the Italian deli and specialty shop right next door.) Even the Caesar salad is wondrous. Mushroom pizza (single serving size); fried mozzarella; cannoli...I can't emphasize how delicious it all is.
