Whenever Great Neck kids make dinner or lunch plans, Gino's is always one of the options and often is the final pick. Amazing for both casual meals with friends and family dinners, Gino's has become a staple restaurant in the town. Take out is quick and the sit-down service is great as well. The atmosphere is welcoming and lively thanks to the friendly staff. And the food, oh the food! They have pretty much any Italian meal from baked ziti pizza to calamari. Open late and almost everyday during the year (even snow days), Gino's has also proved it self to be very dependable. Long live Gino's Pizza!

There were 11 family members and we called to reserve a table. This location is a small restaurant, but the table was in a comfortable location within. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Fresh bread was delivered to the table numerous times. We had ordered appetizers and two salads to share for starters. We were hungry it was good and it went fast. The main course was slightly awkward. I chose the veal parm and when it arrived, it was a plentiful piece, some parts tough to chew but manageable. Some members had fish and it was a sad looking piece as it was small. Samples could not be given out because none would be left for the person to eat. It was nice that the family got together at a good family Italian restaurant.

Was there for lunch with friends. The food is very good and they have a lot to offer. Very good assortment of desserts. They also have party rooms. Valet parking offered in late afternoon and evening. They have a parking lot.
I always get the same thing here - the chicken Marsala pizza. I am a fan of the dish and this is the best I have tasted. I imagine the other stuff is pretty good too, but I may never find out.

Six of us dined last night at La Grotta. We had our oysters, clams, shrimp and mussels served family style...delicious. Great bread for dipping. The veal osso bucco, braciola, prawns and Bronzino were delectable. Assorted desserts including lemon sorbet, pistachio cheese cake and ricotta cake along with cappuccino were enjoyed. Service was great. It was a Wednesday night so they were not crowded. Will be back again.

My son had a fettucine and chicken dish. The chicken was good, the sauce was very, very canned tasting. He didn't like it at all.I, on the other hand, had a grilled calamari salad which was quite decent.Would I eat here again, maybe, certainly I'd not chase it down but it wasn't bad.

Delicious Spanish and Mediterranean food and great service. This has long been a favorite Bayside restaurant . We enjoyed a delicious dinner: steak cooked perfectly and sole stuffed with lobster and crab with lobster sauce. There was entertainment on Friday night. Entrees are $26,95. - $34,95. Paella is excellent too.

For almost three decades, Il Toscano has been known for taking fresh, seasonal ingredients and preparing sumptuous Northern Italian style cuisine.
Being American Italian and very picky with Italian restaurants, this place is excellent. Everything was amazing. The only issues is that they are not big fans of menus (wine list and dessert). They have them but our waiter preferred to tell us, which was a little tough to understand with a thick Italian accent. I wouldâve ordered more, but I couldnât understand half of what he was saying. Then the coat girl insisted we check our coats, but yet half the place had their coats on the back of their chairs. I didnât get that. Food is amazing and worth checking out.

We couldnât find anything that suited our dietary needs. I asked the bartender if we could just get some fettuccini Alfredo, nothing else, no chicken, shrimp or anything. He said âsure, this is an Italian restaurant, we will make you what you want, your way, would you like to split the order? I said that would be great. Within 10 minutes he returned with the most delicious fettuccini Alfredo I can recall. The pasta was homemade and it was a most enjoyable, reasonably priced lunch I recall. Nice job! Kudos!

Just had dinner here tonight with friends for the first time. We arrived at 7pm and were seated promptly after a very warm welcome. The place was packed with other patrons. We ordered a variety of dishes and they were all great. I especially liked my salmon. But what was the best about our experience was the wonderful service from start to finish. Thank you so much! We're so happy to hear you had a great time with us from beginning to end and can't wait to see you again soon!
