Established in 2013. 25 North is the latest evolution an Italian cuisine powerhouse in Westchester, Ny. In 2014, restauranteur William Vitale opened what was largely received as a place where service and great food was paired with an unparalleled and mult
I read many of the reviews before I started to write this as I did before we visited the restaurant to see if I missed something initially or if I will be off base with this review. I picked this place because their menu looked a little more inventive than the other local Italian places. There were 4 of us on a Saturday night. The place is extremely loud. Everyone there was overly nice, which is fine, but our waiter kept rubbing my back every time he came to the table. Never had that happen in all my years. They may want to add " And Massage Parlor" to their name. That aside, I had the rabe egg rolls. The taste was good but the greasiness killed the dish. Can't deep fry at low temperatures! Should have baked them. I also had the risotto which is a great test to see if the chef knows what he is doing. Once again, taste was good, not great, the rice was cooked perfectly but it was sitting in a greasy mess. I was getting agita as I was eating it.My take away on this is I will not go back since everyone else at my table thought the meal was mediocre at best. I don't understand the raving reviews of others but when you look at the young crowd that goes there, I guess it makes sense. I was being generous with the stars.

Comfortable seating. We were a group of nine. Handled by one waiter. He was reasonably attentive. I would recommend the eggplant chips. Meatball sampler was good too. I enjoyed pasta carbonara. Chicken parmigiana entree was very large. We were too full to try dessert.

Although Augie's has moved to a more upscale location in Larchmont, it has retained its neighborhood appeal and cozy atmosphere. The food remains consistently delicious with family style servings of good Italian cooking. Portions are always large and you usually leave with something to eat at home. Each night there is a special. We went on a night when it was pasta night and another when you got all the beer and wine you could drink. The value for what you get is very good. We found the wait staff to be vigilant and attentive. This is a great restaurant to go with your family or a group of friends. They have done a very nice job of renovating the space and creating a great space in the heart of Larchmont.

We've been there several times for special occasions, and the food has been terrific each time--and on each occasion some dishes have been spectacular. But it's quite expensive, and the service can be comically bad: rude, slow, weirdly off. There is a lot of food in Westchester that is similarly overpriced but that is not nearly as good: if you don't mind waiting and dealing with some surliness, you may find a visit well worth your while. Much as we've loved what we've eaten there, we're starting to feel a bit fed up with some of the silliness: the only desserts we'd ordered on our last visit were scoops of gelato, and the restaurant wasn't crowded, but those still too nearly half an hour to arrive, and it's not as if we were waiting with coffee or drinks or looking other than tired and impatient.

Nicky's is our family favorite pizza in Larchmont. They also do salads and other things. You can order for pick up, or just go there with family. Gino, is super nice and makes great pizza. He practically knows every family in town and always greets you with a smile. We love going there or simply get a take out.

We know Italian food, traveling extensively through Italy every year, and Agostinos consistently offers the best and most authentic Italian meals weâve eaten in NYC or Westchester over the many decades weâve lived here; plus delightful, considerate service and a thoughtful/reasonably priced wine list. The home-made pastas, in particular, are exceptional. This is real Italian food, reminiscent of Italy and particularly Abruzzo, delightfully different from the Italian-American food served at other âItalianâ restaurants in the region.

We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened 10 years ago. My husband and I don't eat out locally very much but this is one of our favorite places to dine. It meets all that we are desiring in an evening out. The food consistentely great and Anna Maria changes the dishes often. Certain evening she has pasta specials and another night is BYOB.

I've been to Sal's before it is quite popular and well-known in the area. It usually has a little bit of a line which moves quite quickly as they are quite enough people behind the counter. You can take out or sit in one of the booths. However the pizza really is just average wasnât great. And of course it as the atmosphere of a joint. The service is good and the prices reasonable, parking on the street.

AJ's is a collaboration of America's Favorite Foods served seven days a week serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. AJ makes everything in house using fresh ingredients and an orchestra of recipes. We serve pan sandwiches on our homemade bread; chicken, bro
Just had a great lunch at AJâs. Read about the place on TripAdvisor and it was every bit as delicious, friendly and fun as suggested. AJ spent time chatting about his homemade yummy food, sent over some things he just thought we should taste, and even chatted about bbq sauce with my husband, who has become an amateur rib chef this summer.Burgers were delish. Pulled pork, too. Perfectly cooked rabe. Excellent coleslaw. And spicy pickled veggies just yummy. Not one to take no for a dessert answer, AJ sent small ( thank goodness) bowls of Giffords orange sherbets and vanilla ice cream over causing us to recall the Creamsicles of our youth.Tomorrow: pizza at AJâs!

we ordered the 3 course lunch option for $27 (per person) and everything we had was terrific.I started with the goat cheese salad, then bolognese pasta as the entree, followed by sea bass for the secondi. The pasta was homemade and perfectly cooked - I ate it all and I was so full by the time I got to the secondi that I sadly couldnât finish it but REALLY wanted to. My husband was also delighted with the food he ordered. We will most certainly be coming back and frequently!
