Another wonderful meal with Danny. The homey atmosphere and amazing homemade food are complimented by the warm welcome from the owner. If you are wondering about this place just call for a reservation and prepare to enjoy the experience. It is somewhat akin to a big family meal at your eccentric uncles house. The food appears at a leisurely pace and while there are many courses you will enjoy the opportunity for conversation with your dinner companions. This is a unique dining experience that you shouldn't miss!

We were told that the restaurant was really good and checked the menu before we went and were looking forward to the eggplant. The first thing the waitress told us was that they no longer serve eggplant. The bread was very good but had too much butter on it. We ate the whole basket of bread, but I kept wiping the bread on my plate to get off some of the butter. We had the bean soup which was very tasty. It was big enough that we shared it. We also shared the stuffed shells.
Stopped for late lunch ordered Thurstonâs style pizza with sausage and peppers, order of boneless wings and a mixed Italian sub. Pizza was excellent,I had never had a Thurstonâs pizza it was very good. Boneless wings were ok a lot of coating . The sub was excellent, very good soft sub roll and put together well. The staff was excellent, only complaint was the flies, which the waitstaff apologized for . But that should be the owners responsibility,I work in the food industry and we have Orkin which is great. There are ways to control flies you can do yourself. Please fix because the food was good .And would love to come back again.

Our first impression was the pleasantness and promptness of all the waitresses. When our dinners arrived we were almost embarrassed at the size of the portions. What a delicious Italian dinner. We had Riggies, Lasagna, Chicken Parm, and stuffed shells. Each was better and bigger than the other. Hard to believe anyone can leave without a doggie bag. Can't wait to go back.

We almost did not stop at this spot--the pics did not look appetizing. We ordered pizza with sausage and green peppers. It was so delicious. The pizza crust is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. They have small and large pizza sizes. Unfortunately, no beer sold on premises.
We ate delicious Italian food for dinner at this local family owned restaurant. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs and I ordered eggplant parmesan. It was served hot and the service was friendly and efficient. Locals kept coming in to get pizza which smelled wonderful.

I just had to check it out for myself. When I saw they served lamb chops, I knew I had to get there. They were delicious! It was a Tuesday night. It was quite busy. There was only one waiter on. He did a great job, but I think there should gave been another waiter/waitress.
I had take out on Sunday. Wings were not crisp at all - especially after having requested them to be. Two pizzas were ordered, one was a large "everything but anchovies", it was loaded with great ingredients, but basically undercooked, especially when asked for well done. The second pizza was a peperoni pizza, undercooked like the other, and was also supposed to be well cooked. It's a shame that when Bob (the owner) is present - the pizza and wings are very good, when he is not present, not so much quality.
Good wings and nice atmosphere. Pizza is really good and service is fast. You can eat in or take out. I love places with trivial pursuit cards at the tables. Decorated in a fun way, friendly service - check it out.

Stopped going here a few years back when despite bringing pizza problems to the attention of management more than once, I still couldn't get a decent pizza from this place. Prices were rising while toppings kept getting skimpier, and dough was never cooked through. Recently I went to a banquet at Francesca's (owned by the same people), and their chicken riggies were quite good. So my husband called Sorrento's to ask if they use the same recipe as Francesca's for riggies. After asking 3 different people, the answer finally came back from the kitchen "yes," so he proceeded to place a my takeout order. They asked if I wanted just mild (bell peppers) or if I wanted some hot peppers added in as well. I opted for a little heat. What we got was VERY disappointing. No bell peppers, very little chicken, and obviously canned hot peppers, with their vinegary juice overpowering the sauce and giving it a weird texture and taste, somewhere between Chef Boyardee and...I don't know what. Somewhat gel- like. Definitely not tomato or tomato and cream. Don't get me wrong, I know a lot of places used canned when adding in hot peppers to taste, but for Pete's sake, ever heard of a slotted spoon? Once again I was kicking myself for giving them too much of my money for substandard food. I think it was close to 14 bucks before tax for mostly noodles, yucky sauce, and oh yeah - almost forgot to mention some of the chicken chunks were rubbery and didn't taste quite right, perhaps undercooked. I had to spit out a couple mouthfuls of the already stingy amount of chicken. I honestly don't know how they stay in business. They won't be getting any more of mine!
