Itâs been a few years but we went back to Buca while in town. We had a small mixed green salad (overpriced!) it was okSmall chicken parm (reasonably priced) delicious!Large spaghetti and meatballs (overpriced)It was ok. Nothing spectacular. Side order of Brussels sprouts ($15 ridiculous) Should never have ordered them. They were cold and hard. Tiramisu (expensive for the portion) this is not the same old tiramisu that we used to love. Small portion. Felt like it could have been a mistake. Will not return. Sad. Thank you, 6happyhikers, for choosing to dine with us at Buca di Beppo. We appreciate you taking the time to write this review and will be sure to share it with our management team. Thanks again for dining with us and for reaching out to us.

Monday night is pasta night and you get a salad and meatballs or sausage to compliment your meal. It's also Happy Hour from 3-6 so get a glass of wine for just $3.50 or a beer for $3. The food was great and so was the service. We'll be back!

I went here for dinner this past Sunday evening with my mom. The food is excellent, definitely some of the best Italian you will find around here. We shared fried mozzarella and fettucine alfredo (a small portion) as appetizers, and both were excellent. The marinara sauce for the fried mozzarella was especially good. It was light and flavorful without being too watery. Next was a house salad, which was perfectly fine but not anything to write home about. Pretty standard blend of veggies with average dressing. For our entrees, we both had the chicken parm, and I had a side of penne with mine. This may be the best chicken parm I've ever had. The texture was perfect, soft without being too soggy, and the taste was great too. The penne was nicely salted and came with that marinara sauce I like so much. The most amazing thing, though, was when I heated up the leftovers today, the chicken was still every bit as good as it was yesterday, if not better. It kept its flavor, texture, and shape and did not get soggy or too soft in the microwave. Service was acceptable but nothing special. Waitress was polite and efficient but not especially friendly.

From the time we sat down, it took about 15 minutes before a waiter came to take our order. However, the food was delicious. Reasonable wine list. We shared an appetizer - the spicy clams champagne. We wife had the shrimp and scallop scampi and I the burrata ravioli roasted pepper pesto. I will return the next time that I am in Albany.

Came with colleagues for dinner. The restaurant is very large with different rooms the ambiance is fun and interesting. We enjoyed several different entrees: 6 oz fillet and angel hair pasta, Cesar salad with salmon; a rigatoni, chicken and peppers dish and shrimp scampi. We each enjoyed a glass of wine (loved the Glendora Reisling). We shared a huge piece of peanut butter cheesecake. Our server Corey was terrific. Prices were reasonable.

Seven us meet there for Chicken Parm night and we all enjoyed our meals. It was very busy and I had trouble finding a parking space but it was worth it. Almost all of us had the chicken parm but two of the people had the haddock parm. The dinner came with soup or salad, pasta and bread. the portions were hug and the dinner is only $8.95 on Wednesday nights. There is a little bit of a wait but it was busy. Our server was really good and kept coming back to see how we were doing. She did not rush us at all because we were in no hurray to leave,

First time visit, weâll be back often! Good beer selection, excellent marinara sauce, outstanding truly NYC style pizza, amazing canolis. Salad well appointed, several authentic Italian specialties. Off the beaten track but close by neighborhood gem. Small, should call ahead, but a terrific little place.

Last night of vacation and this restaurant had nice reviews. We were not disappointed. Pleasant looking on the outside, nice ambiance inside with a welcoming staff. My wife loved the beet salad and I liked the Mezzanote special salad although the dressing need d to be tossed more for better distribution. My wifeâs risotto was quite good but a bit salty for her taste. The veal loin special was outstanding. Very tasty sauce and lovely beans, spinach and carefully prepared potatoes. I noted that the manager was checking every dish as it came out of the kitchen and to me that is the mark of a fine restaurant. We had a nice chat with the manager, Connie afterwards as we were the last diners. A pleasant and knowledgable restaurateur and we will certainly be back the next time in Albany.
