We have eaten here before with no issues. Not this time.We visited on 15 March. We had arrived at 6pm and we sat promptly. By 625 we had our order in. Our food arrived at 7:20. Almost 1 hour later. Our waitress never apologized for our food being late, the owner was talking with a table of friends next to us for about 25 minutes (we timed it). She never noticed our long wait. A table behind us and 2 tables in front of us: both sat down after we did and we served after before us. We had eggplant cutlets with lemon: over done. We asked for a side of marinara sauce and told we had to pay?!? Why? Very disappointing.Hi, how. I'm sorry for your disappointment. I'm not sure if you meant march 16th, because March 15th we were not backed up in the kitchen. If i can remeber correctly you had a reservation on Friday in which you were 20 minutes late for and we held your table even though we were on a 40 minute wait. We did get backed up in the kitchen because we were extremely busy. Never once did you complain to your server (the owner that you referred to) about your eggplant. You were also never charged for the marinara sauce that you said you were. The "owner talking to the table " weren't her friends but a table of guest she was taking care of as well as yourself. Never once did you say you were on a time crunch or else we could've expedited your food. At the end you got real mean to my employees, when we were just trying to get all of our guest fed and served in a timely fashion on a busy Friday night!

had lunch, very long wait to be seated, although tables open needed to be cleaned and reset, once seated atmosphere is that of sitting in a store front of a strip mall, however, wait staff was excellent--very attentive to our needs and wants, food was just excellent soup which was wedding soup was very good, also ordered a french bread pizza which was heavenly

Lynn and I and our friends had a final dinner recently at Papa Joes before returning to Florida. This is a hidden gem. Food is exceptional. The restaurant is large. Our server, Elena was terrific. I had the half order of their veal Marsala with an excellent Caesar salad ($14.99). Exceptional. Lynn had her favorite Veal Parmigiana- 3 huge pieces of tasty veal ($19.99). Our friends had the Fra Diablo and the Eggplant Parmigiana. All of us were thrilled with our entrees. Our 4 top table was large and roomy for our party. We have eaten at many Rochester Italian restaurants. I would put this one right at the top.

a definite family-friendly restaurant. fresh baked rolls. wide menu selection. I had the large fish fry tonight. the cole slaw was good. I opted out of the fries for a side salad. the fish was perfect-served hot, flaky white meat - well worth the price. this one of our favorite spots for a good meal at reasonable price. the counter staff is friendly. the owner is usually on-premise. This place gets busy during school days and summer weekends.

Greeted at arrival and seated right away. Food and service was very good. The only complaint is......make sure youâre sitting down for this one.......sign outside at entrance said happy hour 4-7 only at the bar. Do they want people to come in for the drinks but not eat? Furthermore why should it matter if I sit at the bar or at a table/booth? More than likely if I sit at a table/booth Iâm going to order food in addition to drinks. Isnât that the idea? If not for the service and food this review would have been a 0.

My wife and I went there for lunch last week. We always have the unlimited soup, salad & bread sticks lunch, for which they do a very good job. Our first bowl of salad was very small, but besides that everything was fine. They gave us extra bread sticks to take home, plus those tasty chocolate mints! Yummy!

Located on Rte 104 as the end store in a large strip mall, DaVinci's did not disappoint. We attended a large family party there and the staff was very welcoming, accommodating and friendly. The Italian buffet (salad, penne, meatballs, sausages, chicken cutlet, peas and broccoli rabe(?) etc) was tasty, nicely prepared and plentiful, no one went away hungry. We had time to get together and reminisce, no one rushed out out. Ample parking available.

Without a reservation, we stopped in at 6:30 last evening (7/11/18) and were quickly seated in a comfy booth; restaurant was busy and probably 3/4 of the booths/tables were occupied. We met Jeff our server, who was a delight - enthusiastic, friendly, quick - he rattled off the evening's dinner specials, and then walked off to get our cocktails. Potent, tasty cocktails and wine. Improved from our last visit in August 2017: Jeff delivered warm bread and soft butter to the table with our salads - Yay! Menu has pizzas and other more casual options along with traditional Italian fare. We shared the escargot appetizer ($10), which was delicious, followed by one of the evening's specials: the seafood saute over linguine ($21) that had clams, shrimp, scallops and lobster pieces and the veal parmesan over penne pasta ($18) which was a large portion of veal (2 veal patties) - both entrees sizeable and delicious, and we would reorder any/all of our selections during a repeat visit. Too full for dessert. Can't wait until tonight to eat our leftovers. This dining experience was perfect - yes, really....

My wife, her extended family and I went for dinner at this restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant has a very nice environment both inside and outdoors--we put photos. They quickly accommodated us especially a disabled guest who needed seating modified. The servers were cheerful, friendly and helpful. The food came quickly and was piping hot fresh and tasty. As we started eating, the owner Red ( he has run this place apparently for decades) came and talked with us in a friendly, warm welcoming manner. Its clear the restaurant and its staff have adopted his values of being a gracious welcoming host to clients. The portions were good sized--3 teenage boys felt full, I was stuffed. An excellent Italian restaurant in Rochester, definitely worth trying. The server
