I love this place, food is great. Sauce is good. Great Italian food. Be sure to check your order if you order out, they left out the meatballs. They did however make a quick delivery to my hotel. Nice service.

I took my granddaughter and my son out to dinner the other night. I'm not from the Farmingdale area so when my granddaughter suggested Mary's I was a little torn. I have to say she made the right decision Mary's Pizza Pasta was very very good. I enjoyed my food so much. I could not finish my shrimp. I asked for the check and our waitress say oh you have dessert!! I had to take it home also, I couldn't eat another thing. Mary's is a good place to eat and I will be going back there again, the restaurant is clean, the staff friendly and they do not rush you.
I have to tell you, l have been going to New York Long Island for 20 years. My corporate Headquarters just moved to this area 4 years ago and l have to Say Wild Rose Bar and Grill is the BEST Italian food l have tasted in a long time. They make their sauce daily, the chicken parmesan is very tender. I had the plate with Chicken Parmesan, Italian Sausage and meatballs. I thought that they all were OUTSTANDING. Every time l am in New York, l will be going to this restaurant. Don't be fooled about the location and the small nest of the restaurant. Do like l did and have a seat and make an order.

Went with a friend as a convenient local place with good reviews on travel advisor. Liked the simple but nice decor in dining room. Menu selection large, mostly Italian, and daily specials obviously well thought of and seasonal. Food was delicious, but not over the top. Family servings available. Prices reasonable, even for the wine. Place appeared to have a decent amount of regulars when we were there as they were conversing across tables and with staff, always a good sign. Service was average, pleasant, knowledgeable, but we did not like that our main course was presented prior to us finishing our appetizers. Servers presented our food, but never asked if we wanted another glass of wine, nor refilled our water glasses. A big like was the atmosphere as the back round music was pleasant, but allowed for us to talk to each other at an easy volume Also loved the round tables, again perfect for conversation. Overall great local place for value and good food.

Last minute decision for an early Sunday Dinner. I had heard very good things so my expectations were a bit inflated. It was ok It is an old place...kind of dark and stuffy I ordered little clams "vongole" in white sauce...they were ok...and enjoyed a very good piece of swordfish livornaise style. It was too big. My husband's choice of osso bucco was a let down. Only one waiter in the place did his best to juggle his regulars and kind of paid attention to us...not enough really. They do nice things like put warm garlic bread on the table with their bruschetta...but I was not hooked. Dinner for two with one appetizer and two drinks reasonable for the size of the portions 99 bucks.

The food at VESPA was delicious and enjoyable. The restaurant itself is quite noisy and the music was very loud. We had to ask our waiter (who was extremely distracted) to lower the music. We had to ask several times for wine order and ice. Truthfully, we won't be back.

New Italian Restaurant, great food, good atmosphere, family friendly, traditional italian food, fair prices,
We had dined at La Villetta several times in the past with friends , but sad to say your dining experience depends on the day you dine and the mood of the not to friendly owner,.Our last experience was on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was crowded and and extremely dark and noisey you needed a flashlight to read the menu and another group of diners asked the owner to increase the lighting but he did not, after we were seated we had to wait a while before we were even given menus, it was quite a while before the waiter appeared and took our orders, Althouugh the food is good we all agreed that we have had better at other restaurants that we frequent and that the prices are a bit high for the portion that you receive. the waiters were hectic and not very attentive, a comment made by what appeared to be the head waiter was that they are crazy today and tomorrow you will have to look for one. we are all seriously thinking about returning.

Just came got back from celebrating the life of our family member who was buried in Pinelawn. I had never heard of this place but I have to say the employees were SO lovely. The filet of sole oregenata was fabulous as well. It was really noticeable how nice they were here. Thank you!

Classy looking venue. Efficient, friendly waitstaff. Delicious, well presented food. I was pleasantly surprised to see the 2 rooms that they have for private parties. It's especially nice that the party rooms each have doors that open out onto outdoor patio areas.I have no idea about their pricing because I was there attending a private party. I would definitely go back for dinner.

For exceptional Italian cuisine on Long Island, Verona Ristorante Farmingdale promises food enthusiasts a true Italian dining experience in Farmingdale NY. You'll savor warm flavors of the Italian countryside and you'll experience our warm family service,
I attended a repast luncheon yesterday with about 40 people. The service was outstanding and the food was fantastic. Platters of Italian antipasto, shrimp cocktail, clams with linguine and an option of about 6-7 selections for the entree including fish, chicken and veal. I am sure they could easily accommodate vegetarian. A platter of Italian pastries followed with cappuchino and espresso, Irish coffee, herbal tea. The waiters for all the tables were professional and prompt. I highly recommend this restaurant.
