Tradition isn't just something that's been around for a long time, it's something above the ordinary that will go on forever with a life of its own. That's a perfect description of Curley's. From the unforgettable red suspenders of founder "Curley" Dello
I grew up in the area. This was a place for th teenagers to go. Comfort food and beer is the norm. Parking is great. Popcorn is good.Glad to know the food and popcorn hit the spot! It's a bummer we couldn't provide you with a better experience, but I know we can make sure to earn all five stars during your next visit.Best wishes, Susan B., Owner
Enjoyed nice selection of tasty food on the lunch buffet. While I did not eat nearly as much as some workers who can in, I did taste most of it.

This restaurant was recommended to us as we are not from this area. The service and food were so good that we went back the next night! The owner,Joey and his lovely wife, Honey, made us feel like we were eating with family. The atmosphere was cozy and none of us were in a hurry to leave! We found out that this is a third generation owned business. This is the kind of restaurant we want to patronize. Family owned, family run, HUGE portions and homemade cooking! Even the half portions were ginormous! I highly recommend to anyone in the area. We may come back to Auburn just for Honey and Hollywood Restaurant!

We don't go here often even though the service is always good, the menu is large, there's plenty of parking even when it's crowded, and the ambience is very comfortable although it can get loud on occasion. The reason it is not at the top of our list is the chef's affection for salt, but for whatever reason we decided to try it again a few nights ago. I ordered Eggplant Parm, my husband ordered Utica Greens instead of having the salad that comes with a meal and Baked Scrod. My salad was large with a lot of blue cheese on top, as ordered. It was delicious with crisp lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes. My husband's Utica greens were incredibly salty and consequently, not really very tasty, so he put them to one side and I shared my big salad with him. When dinner arrived it looked as if there was over a pound of fish on his plate. Mine had a slice of baked eggplant approximately 5x6x1.5. At least...maybe bigger. We elected to share his fish, which was wonderfully tasty and perfectly cooked, figuring the eggplant would re-heat well while the fish, as a leftover would not. A small bite of the eggplant told me what I was afraid of...the dominating flavor was salt. The menu is a bit pricey but not over the top expensive. Overall, Lasca's can be an ok place for dinner but we think there are better options in Auburn.

Absolutely fabulous food. I have never had a disappointing meal here. The Salmon with honey-mustard sauce and steamed veggies is truly wonderful! Friday nights are great with live entertainment, but reservations are suggested.

We have been coming to this restaurant for 48 years. Names change...menu changes, but the quality and value of the food and service remains the same. On a recent Saturday night, we had two of the best steaks you will find in the area for prices that we have paid for lousy food. The service was great...water always filled, bread re-filled, and steaks cooked as we liked them.We will return soon. The value and dining experience were wonderful.

We were heading to a different restaurant in Auburn, but they were closed. Driving away, there was Michael's, obviously open, and with easy parking. Stopped to look at the menu, and in we went! The decor is an interesting version of '50s & 60s Supper Club', complete with a Grand Piano and a portrait of Old Blue Eyes himself, soft jazz playing on the sound system. Our greeting was genuinely warm and we were seated immediately in a booth. With four large people in the group, we asked for a 6-person table instead and "of course" we were moved. The "head server" (for lack of a better title, he was the Greeter, the order taker, and bill presenter; service was by him and a helper) listed a nice list of specials, and we studied the menu for a good ten minutes; the menu is EXTENSIVE, with starters, salads, soup, pasta, meat and fish dishes. One of us chose the special Manicotti, one the special Eggplant Parm / Chicken Farm combo and one the menu Eggplant Parm; I chose the Veal Saltembocca from the menu. All were served with a choice of soup (we all choose soup, Minestrone) or salad, and all were served with fries, gnocchi or spaghetti. This group was not a share-a-taste group so I can only comment on my Veal Saltembocca. It was EXCELLENT! Served over a bed of sautéed escarole, and with a rich brown sauce, I was in culinary heaven. All three of my companions were equally happy with their dishes. We asked about dessert but no one of had any room to even share a dessert. I'm looking forward to returning! Dinner for four, with one glass of wine, no dessert, was a bit over $100 I think (I was not paying)
