Family style specializing in Captains Fish Fry and Commanders Prime Rib. We have a full service bar as well.
We spent 2 summers down the road from PJs before a neighbor told us what we were missing. Yes, it is a local bar room but the dining room is separate from the bar and very nice. The food is diner style food, tasty, inexpensive and served nicely. Don't miss the prime rib bargain special & the Friday night Fish Fry. This place is a favorite of our grandkids.

We are located in downtown Clayton with an awesome River view. Our handmade "Bottom of the River" theme Bar and table tops, along with our pub style sandwich and appetizer menu makes for a great place to meet up with friends and family. Our "Bottoms Up" b
Stopped in after a long trip in the car. Ordered a beer and Sarah the bartender suggested the wings. They were very tasty and thoroughly cooked. ( I hate under cooked wings). Sarah was very funny and after a couple more beers and another order of wings, the road tension was gone. A friendly stop in Clayton.

Located right near the Riverside public docks, at just above water level. Nice bar and outdoor seating. Although we did not have any wood fired pizza, it did look great, and made fresh right in front of you. We were taken care of promptly, and given glasses of water without asking, which is a nice change. The arancini was ok, came to the table luke warm, so had to be eaten quickly. Same goes for the chicken marsala, luke warm, but was very good. My wife's antipasto was ok, greens were fresh. We would go back again.

My husband said it was the best fettucine Alfredo with seafood he's ever had. Manicotti with homemade crepes was very good. Desserts: homemade lemon meringue pie and peanut butter pie were fabulous. An excellent waitress, Kaycee, provided friendly attentive service.Glad you enjoyed our homemade Italian specialities and pies and will return again soon!

expensive drinks- rude bar tenders- servers on the patio area were much nicer, but also not well trained! put a wine bottle on the arm of an Adirondack chair? in the sun? Another (clearly first day) server approached us with "would you like a drink?" when we had a full drink sitting in our hands. The hotel does not seem to offer any training to their staff.Good morning MAFestusWe were sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the service you received during your recent stay. It was shocking to hear that you encountered any staff member that was less than helpful as that is what we pride ourselves on, as seen in multiple other reviews of the bar. We have certainly taken your comments to heart and have discussed with all of our staff, both how to be more accommodating and yet less intrusive in the event they see a guest that already has a beverage in hand. Clayton is a wonderfully charming small town that doesnât always have the same amenities as larger cities, we hope that wonât prevent you from visiting us again and giving us the opportunity to show you what weâre truly capable of.Kind regards,

A casual bar and family restaurant, open daily for lunch and dinner! One of the few restaurants in the area open after 9:00 pm. Come in for Happy Hour or for one of our nightly bar specials that run seven days a week! We also do catering for weddings, and
The restaurants across the street on the water get all the attention, but on the other side of the main street is this nice place with plenty of menu choices for all tastes. There's a bar to your left side and the dining room on the right. The food was good, with plenty to choose from even for the vegetarian in our group. Service was prompt. Prices are very reasonable. Decor is just ok, and the view is nothing special, but you can walk across the street to the park and watch the sun set on the river after dinner. A good place for families without breaking the bank.

This past week, we ended up coming and staying at 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel. During our time at 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel, both second and third morning we ended up deciding to grab bite to eat for breakfast at Seaway Grille. The first morning we ended up grabbing some breakfast at Seaway Grille I ended up getting their blueberry stuffed French toast, and the second morning ended up getting their Italian Sausage Skillet. I'm my book, I can definitely say that Seaway Grille is definitely one of the best choices and places to go for breakfast whenever in town in Clayton for sure!! I definitely think that both their blueberry stuffed French toast and Italian sausage skillet is definitely right on the money for sure!! And both times we ended up sitting out on patio area and had some of the perfect river views for sure!! And staff in my book is definitely great for sure!! We even both second and third night at the place took advantage of spending some time around fire pit areas in patio area, got a little something to drink over at bar area, and spent little time over by fire pit areas!! We definitely enjoyed spending some time at Seaway Grille during our entire stay at 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel for sure!! We shall definitely consider dropping by again some point the next time we end up coming in town!!Deal holbrookalex,Thank you so much for taking the time to review your recent experience at the Seaway Grille! We truly appreciate your enthusiastic comments about both our food and service! Reviews like this are so rewarding and make what we do that much better. We are very happy that you enjoyed your time with us and we can't wait to make your next visit just was wonderful!Kind regards,

Great location and a great meal. The staff is everywhere, they work hard and communicate very well. Service was polite, but extremely fast. We were there less than an hour. I do not know if they were expecting a big crowd due to a concert at the Clayton Opera House that night, and were trying to turn tables. We did not feel rushed, but it was a personal record. We both had one drink each, a salad and the Perch dinner. All were good, and we both recommend this restaurant, been here a few times before, and they have never disappointed us.

Went here for lunch on 9/8/19. After finding a table waited several minutes for a server to appear. We ordered drinks which came quickly. Server said he would return in a minute to take our food order. Beer was flat and mostly tasteless, and could not be consumed. Waited almost 10 minutes for server to return. We called out to another server passing by and said beer was flat and original server never reappeared, and that we would be leaving. She apologized for the lack of service, etc. Not sure if we will return to the Wood Boat Brewery in the future.

Iâve been a wine lover for 20 years. Never have I had such unfriendly service or as cold a reception as here. No one bothered to discuss the wines. They just poured. To top it off- the wine was awful. We just Left unwelcome and unsatisfied. As a fellow wine lover, I am so sorry that your visit left you unsatisfied and feeling unwelcome! Thank you for bringing your experience to our attention. I will be sure to let all the staff know, so we can work to offer a better tasting to our guests.
