Hewlett is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in Nassau County, New York on the South Shore of Long Island. As of the United States 2010 Census, the CDP population was 6,819. Hewlett Bay Park and Hewlett Harbor consist of many mansions and harbor villas with very large property, a few dating back to the time of the American Revolution. This area, like Back/Old Lawrence is unique because its rural affluence is similar in character to the more well known Gold Coast of the North Shore instead of being more urbanized like the rest of the South Shore of Nassau County.

If you are already looking for the best Thai food here in the Trip Advisor site, you are already in the know of where to go for the best cuisine anywhere. Yes there's always plenty of opinions out there and yes there's plenty of Thai restaurants too. Yes each has there own merits and flare but to find it all in one location? Look no further cause Tum Thai should be Yum Thai in my opinion:-)haha Not only is their food well prepared, presented well plated and interesting cause eating is not only for the mouth but for the eyes as well. Many many outstanding dishes, appetizers and crowd pleasing too. Always with the best friendly service and Tum Thai excells in all the areas of being a great restaurant. Parking can be of a challenge in this area of Rockville Centre (local law enforcement loves issuing parking tickets) and try to designate a driving buddy to protect yourselves from any DUI incidents(many local bars in the area). It's just fair warning. Tum Thai is a great restaurant cause they not only care about the quality of the food, they care if their customers are enjoying their food and of course we all are. Small restuarant in an old strip of stores on a busy street in East Rockaway. Slow service for lunch but the food and portions were outstanding. The best Thai that I have had in a long time!!!!!!!

The absolutely worst Thai food, service and food temperature of any restaurant. Starting with the overcooked fried shumai that was ice cold and the burnt spring rolls, also cold, they served clicked pad Thai that was inedible. The noodles were stuck together and tasted as if they defrosted yesterday's leftovers. The shrimp with asperagus had rubbery shrimp swimming in tasteless water. The basil chicken was no better. We asked for a check and left.

I order takeout lunch from XO Sushi once a week. My favorite item is the Thai yellow curry with chicken (they include a wonton soup which is a miso soup with seaweed and a couple of light dumplings). I have had other items, and all have been quite good. Colleagues of mine eat in, and invariably rave about the food and the service. I highly recommend XO.

I went with my family ( 5 people) to have dinner, and my daughter made reservations to us, because we have 2 children and all of us hate to wait for a table. We had to wait for more than 45', and it's awful to wait after an active Sunday. My daughter complained to the hostess, without any results. The music was too loud, also, and after having our seats, the food was ok, but the " show man" didn't make that " show" to earn the price charged in the bill. Next time, we'll search for another place in Long Island, where there are many Hibachi restaurants. Sorry!!We're so sorry for the wait; we know that must have been frustrating. Occasionally, parties will stay longer than expected, and while we try to account for that, it doesn't always work out as planned. As you can see from our other reviews, we typically do a fantastic job. This must have been an off night for us. We'd love to show you that we're capable of so much more. Beautifully decorated family friendly resturant. Very small dinner spot with a pricey menu. The sauces on their dishes is excellent! I had exotic duck in Thai sauce was excellent! My sister had a deep fried fish with garlic pepper ...presented well. The fish needed to be seasoned nut the sauce helped the blandness. My other date had chicken pad thai...that was excellent. The drinks were very nice in presentation and very nice in taste. This location is not local prices but worth the spending. $$$. The Lichie martini was great.

This place is awesome for many reasons. Lots of warm friendly service, generous portions at fair reasonable prices. Plenty of choices to suit all taste buds and trust me you'll have a great time. There's Japanese food, Chinese food, Polynesian-esque cuisine and old style Westernized Chinese food. It's delicious and you'll definitely walk out like you had a real valued meal. Not as authentic as you might find in Flushing, Queens but this restaurant fills in the void of fun Asian food well prepared and served up nicely. Many happy satisfied customers which makes this place quite a busy standout. Happy Eating and I'll see you around the tables.

Love coming to Xaga. Their presentation amongst the nicest I've seen. The sushi is always fresh and tasty. Ther menu illustrates nearly every dish and is very accurate.
