For over 30 years the Post Office Cafe has been at the center of Babylon Village. Excellent service and outstanding food keep the doors open, as well as a few late night get-togethers among friends.
We went here for Easter brunch buffet. Good points: There was an easter bunny going around for picture-taking, decent taste and variety of food relative to the price, and they were replenishing the food quite frequently. Bad point: Our server was quite rude by saying they were only giving us 1 1/2 hours to eat while I was obviously still eating. This could have been done with more tact and finesse, and we should have been informed of the time limit prior to seating.

Captain Billâs is a waterfront restaurant and catering facility overlooking the Great South Bay. Besides having award winning cuisine in our bar and dining room we host events for groups of 30 up to 250 guests.
Very pretty view from most tables. I had fried scallops that were melt in your mouth tender and delicious. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal also. Service was friendly and good, but we were not in a rush. Just 4 women chatting and enjoying each others company for lunch. They were very accommodating by splitting a sandwich and also a dessert on 2 plates to share.

What a wonderful place to eat. This place was not here when I grew up here. I came to visit my family here for Christmas. We ate here on December 27, 2018 on my birthday after showing my husband Babylon the town I grew up in. Great and prompt service. Food was excellent. We even meet two beautiful ladies who we had a conversation with on cameos and Babylon. The environment was cozy, warm and very inviting. The decor was outstanding! Did I mention how delicious the food was? OMG, so good.

The food here is extraordinary. Everything is perfectly seasoned... and plentiful. I had the Avocado BLT Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was rich and lifted with lemon, the eggs were perfectly poached and the home fried potatoes that accompanied it were flavored so well they needed neither salt nor ketchup. My fiancee had the "Little Italy," a flatbread panini of grilled chicken, roasted red peppers and fresh mozzarella. The chicken's flavor was actually layered, from the charred outside to a juicy inside to a subtle burst of flavor at the end. The cooks know what they're doing.Being lactose intolerant, I very much appreciated the fact that they have two dairy substitutes for their varied coffee offerings, soy and almond milks. The white chocolate mocha was a tad sweet, but was silky rich. I don't want to leave out the service. Our server, Tori, was friendly and comfortably informal. She seems legitimately proud of and knowledgeable about this place, which feels very homey, having almost a college town vibe. She quickly offered my fiancee a free refill of her ice tea. Even the music was right, softly in the background but nice classic rock choices. And to top it all off, the prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the large portions. One of the other couples there left with five take-out containers! This is the kind of restaurant we've been looking for. We're already planning our return trip next week for Valentine's Day, but both of us, each with dietary restrictions, are already considering which of a number of their offerings we want to try next. I'm a breakfast person, she's not, she's a lunch person, and this place is perfect for both of us.

I visited for the second time because my first time here was so wonderful. The food prep is fantastic and the presentation beautiful. But the best is the taste! Such wonderful flavors on all the dishes I have tried. This time, from the Brunch Menu, I ordered the Red Eye Benny, a poached egg on an English muffin, with glazed ham, tomato relish and paprika hollandaise sauce. It was scrumptious! I washed it down with a Peach Bellini. My fiancé ordered the Biscuit and gravy and there wasnât a crumb left on his plate! Another good meal. The rest of our group had equally delicious meals! You canât go wrong with a burger here, either! I look forward to another visit soon! Five stars for food and value, four stars for service. Highly recommend! You wonât be disappointed!

Bad experience...... was on line and waiting for my 2 sandwiches... after listening to the owner and work argue with each other for 20 minutes, I saw two other people get there sandwiches before me. I ended up walking out....

Glenâs is your typical vintage American diner. A few of our favorites include the best youâve ever had, corn beef hash by itself or their classic concoction, the Idaho. Iâll leave it to your imagination . We also love their monkeys-banana pancakes-blueberries too. The space is not that small but thereâs always a line outside on the weekends. Well worthy of your visit.

Attended a Retirement party for a group of approximately 40 guests in the bar area. Excellent service from wait staff. Food was delicious: hot rolls, wonderful pasta with pesto, tender sliced beef, two loaded salads, perfect salmon and chicken. Desserts of warm chocolate lava cakes as well as delicious cheesecakes. Buffet Lunch was high quality and reminiscent of an excellent sit down dinner. Could not notice that there was also a birthday party being held in an adjacent room. Felt as though we had the restaurant to ourselves. Parking was valet only and unfortunately the valet left an accessory on in my vehicle and drained the battery. No big deal but worth a mention. Special Thanks to the guest that provided a jump start. Very enjoyable and highly recommended.

This nice spot on Main Street boasts delicious and varied food. We start with the Mediterranean Spread (many Greek appetizers and salad for 2-3 people). Shrimp Orzo and Seafood Rigati are wonderful, and there are many vegan meals and desserts. Service is friendly and attentive. Enjoy!
