The Hoot Owl (re)opened in May of 2017 and now serves a variety of American and globally-inspired comfort foods and beverages, featuring local Hudson Valley meats, vegetables, beers, wines, and spirits. The Hoot Owl provides a comfortable, cozy, and welco
We stopped in here, sat at the bar, to start our Sunday Funday and we were not disappointed. Starting w/ the âweekender cocktailsâ, to the small plates and wine, all were excellent. I had lamb sausage and buffalo wings, both savory & cooked to perfection. The wife had the fish tacos and deviled eggs, equally delicious & exquisitely presented. Canât wait to go back and indulge in the full brunch menu!

We have been here several times after a bike ride on the rails-to trails bike path that starts in Gardiner. We've just had BLTs, which were huge and excellent and came with a equally huge pile of greens. The beer list, which I didn't have the opportunity to sample, was extraordinary.
Wanted to love this place. First time. So disappointed. The inside is cute and nice tho. Bartender had to fix everything the waitress and cook did wrong.

Conveniently located in scenic Montgomery, NY on Ward Street, this restored old-world inn offers the unbelievable ambiance of a classic country inn. The Pskowskiâs saw potential in the old building on Ward Street, and dreamed of a welcoming, quality resta
We enjoyed a fantastic dinner last night and we had exceptional service. As first time visitors, our server Courtney answered our questions thoroughly and with an extensive knowledge of all menu offerings. She happily accommodated our tables dietary needs. We will definitely return!

Early morning birding in the area and we needed a place to eat prior. Based on the positive reviews on Tripadvisor off we went and had a good breakfast. Receiving a warm welcome as we entered this homey place made for a great start to an average experience; served by less than interested waitresses, who needed to be reminded by staff behind the counter to take our order and return to fill our coffee. We had OK pancakes served with syrup in single serve plastic containers. I prefer real maple syrup. The eggs were as expected. Coffee was OK. I loved the sign on the wall that said We Do Not Have Wi-Fi, Talk to Each Other. By the way we did have Wi-Fi on our cell phone. Cash only. Ample parking.

We grew up on Orange Lake and remember this place as O'Malley's Bar. The owners have kept the feel of the old place while updating and creating a clean, airy atmosphere. The views are gorgeous, the food and service is excellent. There are old photographs on the walls from the lake from before I was born. The downside is that it took my brother and I three tries to catch it on a day it was open for lunch, so call ahead for hours.

Our menu is Eclectic American, offering a wide range of options from Seafood to homemade Smoked BBQ pulled pork, Ribs and Brisket. We serve 1/2 lb. Hamburgers that are cooked to order and served alongside a generous portion of french fries and we always h
ordered the pretzel appetizer that came with a dip that tasted like cheez wiz. The chicken fingers for children was over fried and hard like a rock. The chicken panini sandwich turned out to be a flat bread with flat tasteless chicken. Our waiter kept telling us they were out of everything because the restaurant was so busy the night before.Sorry to hear you are unhappy with your meal. The fact that the waiter was telling you we were busy the day before tells you something. We have many happy and satisfied return customers who are always commenting on the food and complimenting it. Hopefully you'll come back again I will have an opportunity to prove to you how good our food and service is. In the meantime I apologize

Whether you're looking for a place to gather with friends, or a romantic cozy setting, Nu Cavu is the perfect place. Come sit by the fire in our large rustic dining room, or enjoy the sunset on our beautiful patio.
I stopped in for a couple of beers and appetizers. I had the mussels and steamed clams. The clams and steamers were cooked to perfection. They give you very large portions. The NU CAVU has a dining area, outside area and a full bar. There is something here for everyone. You can also see the airport runway and an occasional airplane or helicopter.

my favorite french restaurant in the hudson valley. quiet and out of the way, this little restaurant is a hidden gem. authentic french cuisine with owner and chef straight from france. you will enjoy the atmosphere and the staff, for they make the experience even that much better. this is a fine dining establishment so if you are in a rush, this is not your place.from appetizers to desert you will not be disappointed.
