We went to the Red Lobster off Times Square. We made the mistake of ordering starters. These were huge. So when the mains came we couldn't eat it all. Our waiter Daniel was lovely and helpful.

We stopped by here because the IHOP in Valley Stream was way too crowded. Thank goodness because the food was really good. The pancakes we so good that you don't even need syrup to eat them. The omelets and home fries were amazing as well. IHOP just lost a valued customer.

we had a fantastic meal tonight at RIVER MILL TAVERN for St Patricks Day. The service was on point; the food was TERRIFIC and our picky eaters did not materialize..... because everything we ordered was DELICIOUS!!we started with corn beef and cabbage egg rolls....which you must try.....there is still sunday to go eat there!!!!!!!then we ordered the shepherd's pie ****Delish!!*** the bangers colcannon......FABULOUS!!!! and the fish and chips.....light as a feather, delicate coating and crispy, tasty fries. we left stuffed (and took our leftovers for lunch tomorrow!!) and gladly go there again and again. don't miss the opportunity to eat here because you will be missing a terrific local restaurant which will restore your faith in eating at a well run establishment.
Italian food, pizza, gyros, wings, sandwiches, panini, salads, burgers, seafood, pastas, and of course pizza
I was looking for something less cheesy than the typical parmagiana offerings for a family party...I also wanted something a little different. We had never eaten here but picked this dish out of the myriads of dishes and pizza place offerings and we were not disappointed!! It was delicious! They were also extremely accommodating there...I called in the morning and my half tray was ready and waiting for me. Thank you Mama Gina's!!

Mediterranean/Continental/Restaurant
This visit to Crabtrees was our first since it opened. Mediterranean/American style is not my first choice for eating out. But to make the wife happy and our friend happy since it was her birthday and our 50th anniversary. The service is excellent with water being repeatedly refilled and the crumbs removed very quickly. The 1st thing that annoyed me was this pesky fly throughout the whole time we were at the table. No one is going take swats during a meal so I have no solution. The front door is constantly being opened. My 2nd problem (and I know it is my fault), was the vegetables. Each dish comes with mashed potato and a mix of vegetables like yellow and green zucchini, stringbeans, and pieces of broccoli(ugh) and some slices of beets (ugh 2).For starters our friend had the buratta salad and i shared the escargot with wifey. That came in the full shell on a plate of garlic sauce which is what makes this dish so good. For main course our friend had the darla's chicken, wife had the salmon and I had the porterhouse style 16 ounce pork chop. The chop was huge and covered with sauteed peppers and onions. The chop was very good but I probably would have been happier had I stuck with my first thought of getting 2 appetizers and a salad. I studied the menu and really wanted the calamari plate and the escargot with a salad.Appetizers and salads run from $11-15 while most main dishes run in the teens to 30+.When we arrived the place was not too filled but when we left on a Sunday nite , it was packed. If you are still hungry for dessert, get the gelato.

First off, our server Angel V was great. Thanks for attentiveness and suggestions. One of us has to eat gluten-free. She loved the choices. For me, the El Rey Salad was great. I'm out in New York for work and the first region I was at is the Long Island Area. The hotel clerk recommended a restaurant and I was going to go there but there was a dress code. Shorts was not one of those on the list for acceptable. Got on my iPhone and started to search and saw Bigelow's New England Fried Clams was not far away. Drove up and walked right in, the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was just cool. The service was top notch, someone was always making sure us customers were being attended too and cups were always filled with whatever drink it was. The regulars were fun to listen to and the owner and son were there and they were chatting it up. It was a great experience and real nice to see that there are business out there that still take care of their customers.I ordered the Clams and fries and was so glad I did. Great fresh taste, a lot of clam strips by the way. Just overall good food, everything that I saw coming out looked really really good. By the way, being in New York I was torn to order Manhattan or New England style clam chowder, I went with the New England, WOW, it was screaming. Tasty and just damn good. If I come back out here again, would love for my famliy to come to this national landmark!!! Place has been there for over 80 years. Wishing them another 80. Thanks for a great experience and for the fantastic food!!

Terrible service. Ordered coffee, it never was served but we were charged for it. The pastrami sandwich, which we intended to share was served open face. I was very disappointed and will not return.Too bad.

The Lantern Diner is a family-oriented restaurant serving amazing comfort food the right way. Since opening its Doors once again in 2014 under new management, The Lantern Diner has become once again the Landmark of Hempstead, thanks to our beloved communi
I love burgers but this one looked very nice and was perfect medium rare...but totally dry and difficult to swallow. The rolls on our burgers were huge, but sweet (not s great accompaniment to meat). And they considered charging for fresh onion. Huh? My husbandâs turkey burger deluxe needed a reminder to bring the included onion rings. I must say the fries were fabulous... burning hot, freshly made.
